I'm sorry, are opposing fans not allowed to attend games at a rival's stadium? Do they not count that against the blackout rule? Is there are law stating you can't attend a game at a rival's stadium?

No nothing is wrong with it and enemy fans should be allowed to root for their team. But if you enter enemy territory - you do so at your own risk and peril.

So people should steal things from you because you enter enemy territory? So if you cheer for your team because your team is winning, that gives people a right to assault you because you're in "enemy territory"? See, this is the problem with sports, based on some people's perspective. People act as if it's "war," which is illustrated in your description of attending a game in a rival's stadium as "enemy" territory. It's not war. It's a game that is to involve sportsmanship. That's why we have sports. Sports serves as a way to bridge more violent competition with civil competition. And the your "do so at your own risk and peril" argument is ridiculous. Because if there had been Bengals fans surrounding the woman and they beat the guy to a pulp, I guess that would be okay too. That would have been equally as bad. The Saints fan got off easy. He'd better be glad it was a woman who he took the ball from. If it were a guy or guys, they would have taken his lunch money AND the ball.

Who gives a crap? I'm tired of this sissy PC society infiltrating the NFL. That was a Saints fan watching his team losing at home. I'd have stolen the ball too rather than watch some Bengals puke celebrate with the TD ball.

You all would be laughing if that was a Cowboys fan stealing the ball away from a Commanders fan.

Keep the human interest crap the hell away from football.

I think you're way off base here.

It has nothing to do with football, it has everything to do with being or not being a decent human being.

This first class jerk now has a touchdown ball scored by the team that beat his. And the distinction of being seen as the first-class jerk that he is. What an 'accomplishment'.

Here's the scenario.....

Cowboys/Commanders in Dallas. The Commanders score a touchdown on their way to an apparent win. DeSean Jackson goes to give the TD ball to a female Commanders fan in the stands. A Cowboys fan intercepts and wrestles the ball away.

Do you have a problem with that? I don't. I salute him for it. I look at it as a form of protecting your home turf.

Yeah, a major problem with it. You're there watching a game, you're not 'protecting' anything.

Thinking like this is what gets drunken idiots in trouble.

Am I correct in remembering that you live in the Philly area?

I'm going to have to stand by the principal and say the female Washington fan should keep the ball.

Yes I have a problem with it. It's a game for crying out loud. Let the fan have the football.

So, say that he WAS in fact wanting to get it for his grandkids, like he stated. Who is going to enjoy it more, a young child or an adult woman? It looked bad, but it's a game-ball. She wasn't going to care about it an hour later.

I was at that game, obviously not a saints fan at all. Just in the area on training, my first NFL game!

I remember seeing that happen, kind of sad.
