No
1 he is dealing with an injury "Galette was also dealing with a torn pectoral muscle this offseason. Doctors were split regarding whether Galette required surgery"
and 2 some off the field issues.

Seems like a locker room cancer guy from chatter out of New Orleans. Will more than likely see a suspension at some point, so I doubt it.

Not crazy about Freeney either but Galette with a torn pectoral very well may not even be physically ready to play this season

If he isn't ready then no but we should kick the tires. relying on 2nd year DE and rookie may be a bit much. As long as he isn't going to be suspended i see no reason why the team wouldn't do its due diligence.

Dwight Freeney would be better for depth and wouldn't cause problems or make this place any more of a circus than it already is.

Freeney is a JAG at this point. As pass rush specialist in SD last year he seemed very pedestrian.

I would take him over Freeney after wk 1.

Saints really messed this one up. They picked up and restructured a 12m roster bonus this Spring, after he was arrested.

They still owe him his 1.25m guaranteed base salary this year, though if someone else claims him they may have to pay that.

5m dead money this year and 12m next

if what they say is true no one will put in a waiver claim.

Do you really want to sign someone was involved with on tape domestic violence?
