No chance. Guy is a complete POS. Watch that beach video and tell me that this is the type of guy you want on the team.

He went overboard in that video, but I'd have been pretty intimated myself with so many people surrounding me and might have overreacted too. Also, it's hard to tell in that video whether he was the aggressor or defending himself to some extent. I mean, it's not a great video to have floating around but I don't think it's Ray Rice level or anything. Maybe that's splitti

Going overboard? He hit a woman in the face with his belt more than once. This wasn't the first instance of suspected or actual abuse of a female that Galette has had in his life. He's a POS.

Do you really want to sign someone was involved with on tape domestic violence?

The tape is from a brawl at a beach. It appears Gallette is under attack by a large group of men and women. He wails on some people with a belt but is able to get away. But it looks like he comes back to the fight after a minute or so.

Hard to make a definitive call, but it doesn't look like DV. He had DV charges dropped from an earlier incident and a suspension is still a probability.

Well, in the interest of preserving team chemistry and avoiding probable distractions, perhaps it'd be smart to consider avoiding further involvment with players who might easily become problematical additions. Let's not inundate ourselves with rejects of other teams that have deemed it necessary to cut ties for that reason and have forfeited a fortune to do so. It really seems to me we've welcomed an adequate supply of that element already. Is there no limit to how far a team should push its luck? If not, maybe there should be.

No way. As others have said, it comes down mainly to being set at DE, and secondly to a lesser degree that we have enough "edgy" type players on defense now with suspensions in Hardy and McClain, and also to a much lesser extent Gregory who needs the team to monitor his behavior.

Saints really messed this one up. They picked up and restructured a 12m roster bonus this Spring, after he was arrested. They still owe him his 1.25m guaranteed base salary this year, though if someone else claims him they may have to pay that. 5m dead money this year and 12m next

I heard the Saints have a top notch GM running the show down there.:D $18M for nothing and, first low-balled Jimmy Graham and then traded him for little. I don't think Rob Ryan lasts too much longer as defensive coordinator. This Saints team might just implode. 1-15 or 2-14 might be a real possibility for them. 0-16 if they tackle like they did last year. The owner most likely won't have a clue how bad the team is since he still thinks Reagan is president of the US.

Can't say I mind seeing the Saints fall off. Payton took it to us when he could.

At this point without a suspension I would take him.

A free look at an Pro Bowl caliber pass rusher is worth the drama. It's coming anyways.

Look at that turd Peter King's column today. We are the new Raiders or Ravens for off field issues.
