You are forgetting AB's attitude which always over shadowed his ability.

We didn't have AB long enough, or more likely, we haven't seen enough of SH yet. So I said JR = KW, only because we seen much of KW in the past, and a few of JR's catches and runs did remind me of KW. BP says he reminds him of Gary Clark, the old Commanders WR. If so, if he can turn out like Clark for us...that will be great.

Bryant's probably the better physical specimen while Hurd has (or is supposed to have) more consistent hands. It's funny tho, cause while watching the game, I was thinking "damn, he looks like AB".

I don't buy the Hurd / AB comparison. Different attitude (and hope it stays that way), different style and different body type.

maybe we should give hurd 88 lol

im really excited about hurd, i dont think he's at AB's level tho, i have a feeling that with him being the no.1 at SF he's gunna have a big year, he had a breakout year w/ the browns last year and he's getting better and better

I dont wanna open this can of worms, AB obviously wasn't going to cut it here based on attitude. But he may have grown up? Who knows. All I know is, all reports out of SF, he has a great rep. with Smith there. And Ive told my 49er fan friends that they got a great player with a bad attitude in Bryant..(showed them some stuff he did here, such as the winner against Carolina). Basically, Bryant, talent wise is probably in the top end of WR in the league, better than Brandon Lloyd for sure. Lloyd is more level headed, though.

I forgot this guy's name (I think it was Batil) but he was a pre-season darling WR a few years back only to disappear in the regular season, so until Hurd shows something when the games count I'm holding back my optimism.
