So much for 14-2
They are going for 14 wins. Its just that they will be using a ton of backups to do it.Atleast it gives us a look at what Sanchez can do as a backup.
If we were a near full health, especially with Tyron Smith and Leary, then I'd agree, lets go for 14 wins. But the entire left side, and most of the d-line will be out. No point putting risk to players who can play.
This isn't 2007, it would have been more like 2014 if we didn't get this rash of injuries
I am really curious to see how Sanchez runs this offense on Sunday. Especially since he will most likely get the backup QB job next year.
Heck yeah. He's the highest pick QB on the roster. Those draft dudes are always right.. just sometimes takes awhile. LolPrediction - Once the Cowboys get a look at Sanchez this Sunday he'll end up starting in the playoffs.
He will make a terrific gunner.Prediction - Once the Cowboys get a look at Sanchez this Sunday he'll end up starting in the playoffs.
Tony Romo is a valuable asset. They are trying to protect that asset for trading purposes.I don't get that people are more worried about a backup player who's leaving the team getting injured than a player who might be on the roster for several more years?

Assuming you are correct, then Sanchez should have a good game. McFaddon can provide a good running attack and the short passing game with Beazley and Witten should still be there. He can play decently if he has a running game that's been his history. A running game with a short middle of the field type offense may work well for him.

playing injury prone Romo without Tyron Smith is a smart movePlaying Sanchez over Romo makes no sense to me.
