What do you think about him and his performance.
He had a few decent runs, but also did not do much on other runs.
I know PS and all of that. But still a RB has it or he don't. Sanders lost it IMO.

I was not impressed.
Put him on the PS.

Williams, Blue, Mafah, Leupke
Sanders and Davis to PS. But they will find spot for Deuce somehow instead.

Blue I bet will stashed on pup. Luepke is no lock to be on the 53. Our best pass blocking RB is Mafah. I think we will use the rotation of sanders, Mafah, Williams and Davis. Week 6 we will see Blue brought off pup. We keeping all these guys. Deuce is gone. I hate it but the dude is getting cut. Maybe he ends up on the PS.

Do they say Blue's injury was more serious? They were talking about him perhaps being ready for this game.

Blue can't be placed on PUP. He already practiced.
In order be on PUP to start the season, the player must be on PUP to start TC. Once a player has one practice, he can't be on PUP.

The choices will be season ending IR if placed on it now. Or, be on the initial 53. Then placed on short term IR.

However they said Blue's injury is not a long term deal. And could possibly play in the last PS game.
He was held out this week, because he did not practice all of last week. But did not say he could have played. They aren't really saying much about it. So is it more serious that they say. We never know with this team. Been that way for years.
Almost as long as the SB drought.

I don’t understand how people could have watched Sanders the last two seasons and expected him to do anything. Car stunk but other backs did just fine. He was overrated by an elite Eagles OL and has just been horrible since.

Sanders needs to be significantly better than Mafah to justify keeping a veteran over a young dude on a rookie contract. And he’s not.
Did Mafah play last night?
I had to leave to go to a birthday party. Game was on there, but did not get to play a lot of attention.
I recorded it to watch 2nd half today.

Blue was supposedly a game time decision. A game time decision for a preseason game usually means he is fine and in no danger of missing any time. He doesn’t run down on STs so him being active on game day (at least early in the season) likely depends on him being expected to play some kind of role on Offense. I suspect he is practicing this week (hope?) and gets a little preseason run in week 3 or certainly week 4 u less they just opt against it out of an abundance of caution. It’s only a bone bruise, right?

Yes, on his heel.

To be honest it's hard to judge anything that happened on offense when your quarterback just looked completely like a deer in the headlights And what I thought happened happened and they should have started greer he should have got a chance behind the first and second quarter roster and you could have brought in Milton in the mid 3rd quarter but I for sure think Greer needs to go the whole game next week We need to see what we have in a backup a real backup because Miltons too raw right now...

But I'm not worried about it because I know our starters are good alright starting offense is not on the field but as far as the running backs go I still think Moff has already proved he can be a really good basic run guy you know short yardage first downs... Sanders runs a bit sideways but we haven't seen blue blue knees are actually playing next week I don't care about his alleged bruised foot it should be pretty close I don't think you can re bruise a foot I know it'll slow him down a bit but he needs to get his feet wet pun intended....

So I think they're still working that out how they're going to use the RBC but for sure the way they're handling Williams which I also disagree with the man needs to play what has he done to earn a starting spot here he's never played for the Cowboys he's never been behind our starting offensive line we don't know what he can do why is he getting a pass in preseason we have all these running backs there's no risk he should be playing in the preseason...

Heck if I was the coach and wanted to at least help Greer I would start Williams then bring in Mafah and then get a little taste of Blue next week... At least give Williams a full quarter and that should help a little bit with Greer I mean does anybody else think Greer's not getting a real shot or they really just protecting him because they already know what they have with him but doesn't he need their live reps?

Yes I'm bringing up the quarterback because it's hard to judge the skill players with that mess that we saw last night with the quarterback...

Yes, he played like I don't know a handful of snaps, but he came in right away and had an 8-yard gain, so I think he's already proven the last preseason game all through practice this week He should be a big part of this rotation.. I'm not sure how Williams is getting a pass he should be playing in the preseason he hasn't done anything in the NFL or with the Cowboys to deserve not playing in the preseason.... Want to say a heavy dose of Greer and Williams to start the game preseason game three...

Luepke isn’t a lock?

They’re not playing him in preseason. Nothing could say “lock” more than that.

I saw the same as you. What really ticked me off was he started to get some decent runs in and right when we started moving the ball a bit he waived himself out of the game. It was 3rd and 1, and they of course put Duece in. We then did nothing and I think failed to convert a 4th and 1 with Sanders back in.

I don't want a rb waiving to the sidelines. I want a guy who doesn't want to come out. He can go, and for the love of all so can Deuce.

Javonte, Blue and Mafah. If Javonte doesn't have it run the rooks I guess.
