Today I am proud of Jerry Jones, he didn't let past success as a OC and Norvs history with the Cowboys sway him into making the wrong decision.

We have the pieces to have a dominant 34 defense in place and now we have the coach to get our defense over the hump.

Its time to get behind our new coach and support him as we march to the playoffs in 07

Time for GRON to remove their Norv sigs because sanity has prevailed at Valley Ranch!

No doubt when JJ called Wade earlier, Wade answered by saying "Hello, I'm not Norv Turner", and Jerrah of coures replied, "You're HIRED!"

Yeah, change it to the one where Roy is sacking Brunell.

Hey now ease off the suggestions there.

Brunell is the backup QB, lets not forget. :D

Good luck with the new coach. I am surprised by the pick. But at least, not disappointed (if I were a Cowboys fan) with a Turner choice. I still wish for zero in the win column. But again thats just the nature of being a rival fan.

I am telling you man a Norv hire would have sent me over the deep end.

Here's to 0 wins for the skins in 07

I can't remember, did the Cowboys face Brunell this year or was it Campbell (in washington)?

Either way, I liked Campbell coming out of college and I think he'll be a solid pro. Solid passer and solid scrammbler, but he looks to pass first. Get him a more reliable TE and a Big WR and he can make some noise.

I agree. My first choice would have been Singletary, but I like Wade, and I like him alot more than I do Norv.

Fair enough. Although I was quietly (or not) rooting for a Norv hire.

Campbell still has some work ahead of him. Thats for certain.

And the Cowboys lost to Brunell in DC. Get used to it though. Well hopefully.

Cooley is plenty reliable, but as you guys saw with Romo and Witten this year, the chemistry needs a little time.

I really don't think Cooley is reliable. He's a weapon on screen passes (somewhat), but he doesn't get open downfield well enough. I think Cooley would be better as the 2nd TE or H-Back role.

I still have my doubt's on Campbell. Yeah he is pretty safe with the ball. But he really didn't make any big plays that mattered. and when he needed to make some plays, he didn't.
