Whether the team wins or loses, you can always count on Showtime's Inside The NFL to have something on the Cowboys. After all, is there another NFL team that gets such a rise out of viewers and fans?
Here's what Warren Sapp had to say about the Cowboys the other night in the wake of the loss to the Giants.
"They're not tough. The Cowboys do not like being punched in the mouth. The Baltimore Ravens walked into their stadium, the old Cowboys stadium, with a hundred of the old Cowboys around the place and they thought it was going to be this grand closing and they punched them right in the mouth and the Cowboys did not want to stand up to it. And you talk about Greg Ellis, Chris Canty and Tank Johnson coming off that D-line and you leave DeMarcus Ware over there by himself. I've been that guy when you're by yourself. They slide the line to you and you get what you had the other night, zero sacks, zero turnovers and a loss on the scoreboard."
And then there was the Flozell Adams trip of Justin Tuck:
"He's been doing this for years. He's done it to me a couple times and the thing that really bothers you, he leads the league in false starts and different stuff like that. But just have the mental capacity to not kick a man, because momma always told you 'keep your feet on the ground."

And finally:
"TO says that the Cowboys found that they have a TR problem, not a TO problem. He tweeted it this morning."

I was wondering how long it would Owens to take a shot @ #9...

Maybe it's because T.O. didn't take a shot at Romo.

A retweet is not the same as him personally tweeting. Especially when immediately after the retweet, he commented that they played hard and he felt bad for some of his friends on the team.

I see Sapp is looking for some attention.

All you have to do is badmouth the Cowboys to get it.

The Giants "punched us in the mouth"??? Uh, ok. If you bothered to watch the game, Warren, the Cowboys were the team blowing huge holes open in the running game all night. It was the Cowboys D-Line that did a better job of containing the opposition's running game.

The Cowboys lost because of turnovers. Plain and simple.

I didn't see what TO actually said, just what was originally reported. What did TO say?

This is the most telling part of the article because it is true.

After all, is there another NFL team that gets such a rise out of viewers and fans?

No but he "retweeted" it and hasnt come out on camera and said something... Obviously people in the press believe he believes it, otherwise they wouldn't continuosly credit him with the post.

More than likely he retweeted it because it was funny and clever.

Also, why should he come on camera with something when he followed it up with several personal tweets of his own stating what he thought?

Just because the media refuses to add those tweets doesn't mean they don't exist.

The bigger question is why is anyone reading a bunch of friggen tweets anyway? That is one of the dumbest inventions they've had on the internet.

You're absolutely right, and he doesn't need to come on camera. I was just sayin ;)

The thing a hate most about all this media stuff is until we prove otherwise all we can do is take this junk. We have to get some PO wins to shut these turds up. I hate for my Boys to be called weak, heartless and gutless. Gotta get it done this season!

Are the Cowboys the only team in the NFL that loses? I mean there are so many teams with much more problems than us but everybody and I mean EVERYBODY is commenting about us and the loss to the Giants. I don't seem to recall us getting this kind of attention after week 1. I know we are the Cowboys and people love to hate and we get attention but people act like we got ran out of our own stadium or it was the last game of the season.

Ok, A.) **** you Warren Sapp. You fat lazy piece of **** who could've been the best DT ever but was too lazy to put in the required work.

And B.) If we dont like being punchd in the mouth, why did drive the field on our last offensive possession and score a TD after going down by 6? Yes we gave it up on defense, but to say we didnt respond when they punched us in the mouth is ignorant, exactly what that fat sack of crap is.

Ummm, Sapp is absolutely right.

The Ravens DID come in last season, punched us in the mouth, & we folded like a cheap suitcase.
The Giants did beat us, in a big game, under the most auspicious of occasions, an event we'll NEVER get back, & IMHO, we folded. People talk about those turnovers like they're not a part of football. TO's count whether they're lucky, or "gifts", or whatever- so lets get over that.
We DID give away Canty, Ellis, Tank Johnson, & DWare IS alone on that line. Ratliff is the only other Alpha Dog on the D-line, so how is Sapp wrong?
If some of us would take off the silver&blue colored glasses, we'd see that some of the criticism is very JUSTIFIED!
We've played GUTLESS in some of the biggest games in franchise history- so why the denial?
