So what are the Dolphins going to do bench Tua in one score games in the fourth quarter and bring in Fitzpatrick to win them? lol I don’t see how this is doing Tua’s confidence any good. If you’re going to start him stay with him unless he’s completely stinking it up. He needs moments like this to develop as a QB.

My thoughts exactly. For me I feel like realistically they aren’t any more than a 1 and done or 1 win playoff team. So from a FO standpoint I play Tua through thick and thin and let him experience the growing pains now rather than later.

For the players though they obviously don’t see it that way and probably feel like they can make and win the SB. So it’s a coaching balancing act for Flores. Does he develop his young QB or make a move to Fitzy when he feels like a game is winnable and Tua ain’t doing enough? I can see his predicament.

Miami is gonna regret passing on Herbert....

They already regret it.

Tua is either way too cautious or can't read coverages fast.

This offense looks so boring with Tua and Fitzpatrick lights it up.

Sure, maybe they're one and done but how amazing is it for them to be in the playoffs given where they were the past few years? That's worth some pretty good PR to fans. Everyone loves a winner so the more you can back that narrative you go for it. Plus they make it in and the Patriots don't? That'll get fans believing.

Sure, maybe they're one and done but how amazing is it for them to be in the playoffs given where they were the past few years? That's worth some pretty good PR to fans. Everyone loves a winner so the more you can back that narrative you go for it. Plus they make it in and the Patriots don't? That'll get fans believing.

For sure for a franchise like that this year has been a godsend. Just think it’s complicated for Flores with the Tua/Fitz thing.
