Saturday Game Thread

It's true but if Tua can't take this he doesn't belong in the pros, honestly. Adversity is part of it. Same thinking for DiNucci. Eat or get eaten up. Gotta be an alpha if you want the QB1.
Yeah he’ll be fine, my only worry would be pushing back growing pains into next year where they should be a lot better as they have few holes (O-line, WR, could use another pass rusher or RB).

They should conceivably be better next season, so I would be thinking twice about delaying Tua’s development into a year where you need him to be improved.

clearly offsides on purpose, their only real chance to get the ball back with any time other than letting them walk in for the TD

He was not "tackling him", why does this place constantly exaggerate? In real time, he had a slight pull on the shoulder, I go with consistency and see that happen too often and not called.

That ball was too far in front either way.
Yeah after watching the replay on twitter it was a soft call.

My thoughts exactly. For me I feel like realistically they aren’t any more than a 1 and done or 1 win playoff team. So from a FO standpoint I play Tua through thick and thin and let him experience the growing pains now rather than later.

For the players though they obviously don’t see it that way and probably feel like they can make and win the SB. So it’s a coaching balancing act for Flores. Does he develop his young QB or make a move to Fitzy when he feels like a game is winnable and Tua ain’t doing enough? I can see his predicament.

Miami should have never benched Fitzpatrick in the first place he was playing good and they were winning games with him. They obviously wanted to see Tua play but they picked an odd time to name him the starter. Had they waited until Fitzpatrick flamed out they wouldn’t be tempted to bring him into games in the fourth quarter to try and win them. Tua needs these moments if he’s going to develop into a solid NFL QB. All the Dolphins are doing is killing his confidence by pulling him with a game on the line.

Very interesting QB situation indeed

Wasn't a tackle. More of a tug. Technically PI but borderline.

Regardless the Dolphins looked awful tonight.

Especially Tua. No business winning this game.

Fitz put up 10 points in 2 drives and Tua.

Wouldn't mind seeing Gruden lose this way though lol

Gruden is such a joke
