Are there any old schoolers ( like me) and fans that grew up in that age genre where Saturday Morning Cartoons were da absolutely bomb guilty pleasures of fun?
    – can you name your favorite Saturday Morning Cartoons that you grew up on ?

Mine right off the bat easily were:
    - Thundarr the barbarian
    - Super friends (later on Legion of Doom version)
    - Fantastic Four
    - Incredible Hulk
    - Dungeons and Dragons
    - Spiderman (several era versions)

And several oldie Hanna Barbara superhero versions such as:
    - Herculoids
    - Space ghost
    - Underdog
    - Flintstones

for whatever reason I just wasn't the biggest Johnny Quest fan, and this was way before the Cartoon Network studios took over on a 24/7 basis.. that eventually help faded away the Saturday Morning favorites.

I watched them sometimes as a kid. Though not religiously.

What I watched religiously was Kung ** Theater on Sunday mornings!

EDIT: lol, really? That gets redacted out?

Was that " Black belt" theater?

Lol ...I know right? Totally redacted.
so Fuu Manchu or Hong Kong Phooey can't be said either?

And with my region, black belt theater would appear in my local area on Saturday afternoons...luv it!

I watched and enjoyed all those, including Johnny Quest, except two.

    Did not watch D&D.

Did watch (and groaned) The Super Friends. This IS basically how I feel about that show:

I believe Black Belt Theater was a similar concept, but not the same show I used to watch in the 80s. What I used to watch was definitely called Kung ** Theater and were all sub-titled martial art movies. The ones where they used ropes and stuff and it would make them jump from the ground onto the roof and trees and stuff. It was really stupid, but to a young kid who was really into the martial arts at the time. It was the best! :)

Yep, the 70s was an awesome time to be a kid. Saturday mornings rocked.
Liked all the stuff Sid and Marty Kroft did but HR PUFNSTUFF was my favorite with Land of the Lost not far behind.

I never really got into the Jetsons. I thought they were such a far cry from the likes of their counterparts - the Flintstones (who I luuuuved ! )
I never thought the Jetsons characters could never match the appeal and charisma of the Flintstones.
the loud, brash and highly stubborn and zany Fred Flintstone who was quite a very unique character all his own.
And I thought the stone age scene and surrounding (and tools) was more appealing than the space age scene.
The Flintstones were my version of the Simpsons back in those days.

Under Dog was my favorite forever I assumed it was Hanna Barbara but found out that it was a different production studio, .. the same ones that produced Colonel McBragg, and Dudley Do-Right ?
    - sorry but I hated Bulwinkle.. and the Smurfs

Maybe it wasn't a part of Saturday toons, and it appeared more on Weekday early mornings and afterschool afternoons, by I was also really hooked on both Mighty Mouse.
. and the Mighty Heroes ( diaper man, koo-koo man, tornado man, rope man and strong man)

I would have guessed Underdog was Hanna-Barbara too.

Might Mouse was good. I also liked Speedy Gonzales and Foghorn Leghorn.

Bullwinkle is interesting in that there was a lot of humor a young kid would miss, but an adult would catch.
