I remember the team was changing abd guys thought emmitt was done. They brought in Chris watermen to replace him. All he did was rush fir 1300 yards while missing Hanes with a broken hand abd had 150 yards in the first half of the Vikings game.he missed the 2nd half with a broken hand.

Teams focus on Zeke 1st before anything else when we play offense.

We are developing a 2 RB offense which is good and will reward us in the long run.

Zeke is not washed up and played very well last game. Looked very good.

Teams are more concerned about Zeke than anything else on our offense.

Don’t be mistaken.

Im ecstatic both are playing well so far.

I get the feeling that a bunch of people on this board have backed themselves so far into a corner on the topic of who is better and will put up better stats, that they actually “root” for Zeke or Pollard (whomever isn’t (“their guy”) to do poorly during games so that their hundreds of posts on the topic come out true and they can come on here and pump their chests about it even if for just a few weeks. Sad when being “right” or rooting for your favorite guy is more important than the team doing well.

see the Dak vs Zeke discussions and anything about Jaylon for more examples...

The good rosters in this league know and understand the importance of having more than just 1 RB that can tote the rock the entire season.
The stars finally aligned and we might have 3 now.
Clement was a solid signing that will prove to be very valuable this season.
Imagine if Clement gets a bunch of carries next game and does really well? Half this boards heads will implode as they won’t be sure which way to argue it...

Elliott shouldn't be saved for any game (s). He's overrated/overpaid & bragging what good shape he's in. Put him in to play every game like other teams do w/their rb's.

With our final games of the season coming against WFT, NYG, WFT, Cards, and Eagles, our fate will most likely be decided in this stretch. Zeke has been ridden hard since college and his best days are likely behind him. We are going to need all hands on deck at the end of the season, so it makes sense to lighten his workload and keep some tread on the tires.

The contract extension was obviously a huge mistake, but this is the best course of action going forward.

nope.

As Jerry said, We have a Great situation with both of them. Remember, Barber was always the Barbarian when he came off of the bench. Keep it as it is, Zeke will be fine imo…

They aren't "saving" him, they just finally realize that he isn't very good outside of pass blocking.

It really bother's a lot of fans that Elliott is the starting, featured RB. We have 2 backs with 2 different skillsets and I'm pretty excited to see how this plays out. The 2 of them get along and know their roles. The only controversy is in people's heads. They're both playing very well and running the ball well. Another thing no one is giving them credit for is they're holding onto the ball.

We are not good enough to "save" anything. We need to win every game we can.

The defense sucked and Dak was a bus driver.

Zeke was the focal point in 2016 but Dak still won rookie of the year. We wouldnt have made it anywhere without both. But I still ask...............where did it take us?

It SHOULD have taken us to realizing that our defense needs major improvement.. Unfortunately it didn't.. and here we sit still with a great offense trying to carry a mediocre defense.

that defense wasn't as bad as the one we have had lately. We just had horrid coaching in Garrett and his slop.

Zeke had a few great years, no doubt, but we can see clearly now that it is more the Oline carrying this team then it was Zeke. Zeke is simply not as good as you think he was. You were told this over and over again of late and wouldnt listen. You were also told about Pollard and laughed it off. Now it is unfolding before your eyes and the joke is on you.

"Who do you think is going to make the most of a good Oline opening up big holes"?

I asked you this question over and over again and you got it wrong. You are seeing it now.

It got us pretty darn close to the conference finals with the youngest team in the league. The future was bright. Then Jerry got a woody and blew it all up.
