Say Thanks to these latest hirings of HC???

Marinelli, Mangini, Mc Carthy, Childress, Linehan, re-cycled Edwards, Martz in Oak? and maybe throw in Payton....Lets thank all these teams for giving us the chance to get a HC in about 2-3 years post Parcells....With these guys off the market we should have our pick, Charlie Wies, Kirk Frerentz etc....

These are lame hires, all of em....without knowing any of these guys, really do you beleive this crap.....I posted a week ago that if Jones hired one of these guys the board would light up with negative posts...heck if he even interviewed these guys Dallas fans would puke!!!

Lets just hope our window doesnt collide with the firings of all these guys.....

Matt Millen, no. But likely the rest are.

I don't necessarily think they are all bad hires. I'm just surprised there's so many unproven HC's in the bunch. You always see some coordinators get HC jobs, but you usually have some retreads and/or college guys thrown in the mix as well.

Well here is the thing...we kept seeing retreads over and over and wondered how this would happen and why don't they get some fresh blood into the league.

But then when it happens people are laughing at teams and thinking they are nuts for giving these guys a shot.

I am sure there will be some of those coaches that crap out, but at the same time what if you get one of these guys, give him the first chance at being a HC and they turn out to be the next great HC in the league.

Handley took over for him with the Giants and Belichick was the choice before he backed out with the Jets.

Yeah, that is why I think the Coach is on the staff already.

Funny, I was talking to one of my Co-workers yesterday about Bill telling Payton to make a decision.

He speculated that Bill probably had told Payton he had a good chance to replace him and Bill was probably annoyed at Payton and thats why you get the angry and impatient Bill Parcells.

Dont know if that is true.

I really do think Parcells will definitely have a say so in who is hired though.
