He's definitely had an odd career.
Few people realize that for as long as he's been around, those two magical SB runs are it for him.
Every other year the Giants have been in the playoffs with him--which is not that often--they have been one and done. 3 times one and done.
Except for maybe 1-2 years, most of his regular season have been very average, and occasionally full seasons of terrible.
But he did play well--real solid, not spectacular--in both SB runs. And the defenses were playing out of their minds. I mean, they held the highest scoring team in NFL history to 14 points in 2007 for the SB. Heck, they held our Cowboys to 17 that year too.
He's been blessed for a couple of stretches for sure.
