I'll take boring over "HBO's Hard Knocks" 24/7.

I have to agree. Nothing good can come out of that crap.

We are not that bad. We are a good team, loyal listeners.

The breach between what we, the fans, think and what the press and experts think is big.
They put us No. 4 in the NFC.
They put us No. 8 in the NFL.

Hos you brought up an interesting aspect of this camp. We are in fact, bland and unexciting. But no news is good news and largely we excaped injury on a widespread scale.

Further, men, we have the best of both worlds right now: Under the radar and loaded with talent.
And where is the weak link?
Picture this whilst we channel John Facenda:

Against a dark December sky, in rides Wade Phillips, the master of average and the puffball of coaches. He is pestilence to vanquish all pestilence, he Wade Phillips of neverwillbe profile.

[ end channeling Facenda ]

Now I sayeth, we are in the Super Bowl with a strong coach like Gruden, Shanny or the Jaw. With Wade we are 9-7, tentative, pushed along only by sheer talent but not by leadership. And, ultimately, faltering in the first playoff. Or, if like last year, not at all in the playoffs.

It is so apparent that this is a team without fire in its belly. A team drenched with talent but with no strong man to follow into the NFL mayhem.
The three coaches I mentioned are worthy successors of Landry, Johnson and certainly, mutts like Campo and Phillips.

Yes, Cowboys are under the radar. And I hope someone can pull them into the krieg lights with some impressive play and leadership. I've said too much already . . . .

I am dizzy . . . must stand up . . . busch light on nighttable . . . in cans . . . . sic semper peralusbusch .

Hooray beer.
