I predict the Cowboys win. Let me know how it turns out.
I predict that you won't see the Red Hand Clapper or the Monkey on the sideline.

I didnt realize how slow NOVACEK was!!!!
Clappy was there actually. Doing his thang
In watching the Lett gaffe, I always wonder why players escorting the guy who gets the turnover don't turn around to see who's coming. That's one of my pet peeves in football. Why are you running down the field with the guy who has the ball with the pursuers at your back?
Turn around and find someone to block.
You're absolutely right Tyke. Jimmie Jones looked to his left but never to the sidelines where Beebe was coming up like he was shot out of a rocket. Beebe was easily the fastest player on the field that day but his great play should never have happened. Jones could have helped out Lett but ultimately this epic fail is on Lett.
IIRC Lett beat out Danny Noonan for the final roster spot for the DT rotation. I liked Noonan coming out of college. To this day, he and Chad Hennings are the only two Cowboys defensive players who could outlift Randy White.
I never cared for arrogant showboating - probably something I got from being such a fan of Coach Landry - and for that reason the play by Lett has always stuck in my crawl.
When you think about it, had the refs flagged Buffalo when Frank Reich crossed the LOS on his 40 yd TD pass and had Lett finished the play the way he should have the Cowboys would have set SB records for points scored and margin of victory. Had they done that IMO more people would consider the 92 Cowboys and not the 85 Bears or 89 49ers as the greatest team of the SB era. For that reason I think those two plays had historical significance.
Sb 27 on NFLN right now

Those teams would simply impose their will on other teams.
I'm patiently waiting for those days to return.
