Im in a Sports Business class in college, and one of the big topics with the NFL CBA is the NFL Network revenues. If the NFL Network gets the THursday/Saturday games, it is unclear weather or not it gets shared with the players. Don't have a link, it's from the Sports Business Journal we receive weekly in the class. Sort of interesting.

Now-a-days, the players always are looking for their cut from the owners pie.

Guess you cannot blame them since they are the show.

i believe you are right that it's not counted as revenue because they don't have a contract to broadcast those games thus they revenue is from the adds and the owners own it. neat trick by the owners

Do the owners really own the NFL network, or is the League. I dont know. But I thought that was a league wide things, not the owners.
