Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones made himself available to ESPN cameras and will be the subject of an all-access feature for Sunday’s SportsCenter SC Featured segment with reporter Jim Trotter. The Jones feature will debut in the 10 a.m. ET edition of SportsCenter on Sunday, July 30, and Trotter will join the program for additional insight. The feature also will re-air in other editions of the program throughout the day.

He mentions that he's open to putting Jimmy in the ROH.

“My impression of Jerry did not change. Although he has his critics, the soon-to-be 75-year-old is a business savant. He’s fearless, relentless and energetic. But he’s also caring and, dare, I say, softening in his golden years,” ESPN NFL reporter Jim Trotter told Front Row. “He won’t like that comment, but the fact that he admits in the show (how’s that for a tease?) that he’s now open to honoring former coach Jimmy Johnson in the Cowboys’ Ring of Honor — two years after all but publicly slamming the door on it — is an indication that he’s not as inflexible as some believe.”

It'll be interesting to see if Jerry follows up on the speculation of granting Jimmy Johnson a spot in the ROH. He says he's "open" to it, although this doesn't automatically appear to indicate that it will necessarily come to pass. H-m-m, we'll see. ;)

I think he will. He's definitely getting softer with age. I've seen him cry more times in the last year during interviews than the previous 20 years. What good comes from taking this beef to the grave? It's time to fully appreciate what this franchise accomplished in the 90s.

There needs to be some urgency in this organization (Garrett) to get this man another Super Bowl before it's too late.
