There was a long pass to Roy late in the third quarter that the Dallas radio guys said was PERFECTLY placed over William's shoulder.

Roy didn't even turn and look.

During the game threads there were actually some Roy defenders saying that Roy shouldn't have looked because he was covered. Did Michael Irvin ever do that once in his whole career?

To be honest about it,that was not a perfectly placed ball.It was on Williams outside shoulder and I don't think he had much of a chance at it even if he picks it up sooner.

I think you consider it but unlike the OP I think if you do than Crayton would take his spot not ogletree...not yet anyway.

Roy Williams isn't the problem... Romo hasn't been delivering the ball properly, too high and way behind the receivers!

Roy Williams is a problem.

Last game, he was thrown a perfect ball, only to fumble it. He has consistently had throws hit him in the hands, even if they are high. Larry Fitzgerald makes those catches. That is a real number 1 receiver.

The two have nothing to do with each other. Just because we won doesn't mean Roy didn't suck.

I believe the ball was placed a little to far to the outside.Part of that could be because the route was off or it could be that Romo was off on the placement of the ball.You want to throw away from coverage but that would have took a heck of an effort to catch that one.I'm wondering why Romo went to Wiliams it didn't look as if his read should have.But who knows?

My patience is wearing thin. I've been holding out that he is just trying to get his timing down with Romo, but I'm about out of excuses. Maybe he just isn't any good.

I'm not giving up on the guy yet. He's playing with zero confidence right now. The guy is talented.

Aikman doesn't believe in him. Irvin doesn't believe in him. It sounds like he doesn't believe in himself.

I don't have time for a pity party. I want Ogletree or at least Crayton in there with those reps.

I'm not giving up yet, but my patience is also wearing thin. He does seem to get more bad passes than the average bear, but he is also a number one receiver that should make the tough catches. Fitzgerald makes a living off of coming down with those types of catches.

I had a pretty bad misconception of Roy, I thought he was the type to come down with the tough catches? I'm dissapointed in his play but I think he'll turn it arond before the playoffs.

I think you're a little confused. There's a reason Ogletree was not drafted. The only time he's made any impact was on two screen plays - the entire season. Yet, you're calling for Williams' head, and wanting Ogletree to start?

ogletree could do a whole lot of nothing as well as roy has done.

If Ogletree was starting and not Roy...we would be a completely different team.

I'm not saying Romo hasn't had some ugly passes...esp. today when he was playing with a bad back/hip contusion.

But Roy gives us NOTHING. He hurts this team badly.

Ogletree on the other hand is quick, explosive, runs clean routes and catches the ball.

We wouldn't even be talking about Garrett this or Garrett that if Ogletree was starting. And ultimately it's JERRY that is making that decision. You know.

at this point he is a liability, we'd be better off with Ogletree, Crayton or Hurd starting. Maybe just a game or two, shame the guy into getting better

Not to defend Roy, but none of our receivers had a really good day, besides Bennett. Romo was off all the way around to day.

But in case some of you missed it, THE COWBOYS WON TODAY! Sorry to ruin your day, but winning 7-6 against a bad team still counts as a win.

But Roy has to make those catches. That's a main part of his game.

But there's no doubt Romo needs to give him better opportunities to make plays at times. The thing that sucks is when Romo does give him opportunities, he hasnt made the play.

If and when they start to play well together, the offense will pick up again.

Hahaha...but on an unrelated note and to cause further interruption of this nonsense, I will say Crayton is a drastically underrated receiver. I trust him more than anybody on that receiving corps right now. Look at the way Witten's been dropping passes and can't get open.
