these playoffs scare me. before I start, let me say that i have been a huge Boys fan since 1981, suffered thru the 1-15 seasons, 5-11 seasons, live in DC where I HATE the skins. But heres why:

As much as I like the boys to beat the skins on Sunday, I dont see it happening. I can see us losing like 24-17. Thank god for the Bears. I did not see us winning had the bears lost. Losing jason campbell was the best thing for those skins. lucky *******s.

skins will be the final seed. i can see them winning a close game in Seattle. the media will love it and play up the sean taylor angle.

skins will then go to dallas. this matchup scares me. We were lucky to win that close one in November when Campbell threw that pick to Newman. An experienced Todd Collins will not throw that pick. What if Romo's thumb is hurt? what if he's rusty from the layoff? Will TO be ready? also, who knows about Wade phillips. Hes been a great coach but he did choke in buffalo and denver. remember, 2 years ago Steelers beat the colts after a layoff. HFA is great but no guarantee.

Worst case scenario is skins beat us, and meet green bay in NFCCG. that would be a nightmare. like sodom vs gamorrah.

I hope I'm wrong. any thoughts?

What's worse than a skins fan who joins up (as a Cowboy fan) to tell us how lucky we were to win the first time and how little chance we have next week... and of course how scared we should be to play them in the playoffs.

This is what annoys me about 'Skins fans.

Gibbs' teams always seem to play pretty good in December. This is a pretty consistent pattern with his teams, i.e. it's nothing new. Maybe he has the midas touch in this month. But, due to it being a common pattern that really hasn't resulted in a huge amount of playoff victories and SBs (two in strike years), that doesn't prevent most 'Skins fans from thinking they are world beaters when they go on a bit of a winning streak during this time.

All I care about is my team winning. I don't really have a rivalry motive that drives me. But, since I live in the DC area, I get to hear a lot from these delusional 'Skins fans, so it makes it really easy not to like them. As we can see, there seem to be a few of them here who have created accounts just to pretend to be scared 'Boys fans.

Honestly, I'd rather beat them next week than let them have the opportunity to meet us in the playoffs. Partially, because any given Sunday applies. But, mostly because of where I live and what I have to live with in this area surrounded by their fans and the media.

Beating them with mostly backups would be nice. Personally, I don't think they deserve to get into the playoffs. But, I don't expect we will win next week. I expect a loss, because of my cynical/conspiracy side. I guess we can only wait and see what happens.

Why were we lucky Campbell threw a pick? He threw it. That's what he does in pressure situations. Check his history. I agree the best thing that's happened to them was losing Campbell but I don't think they beat Seattle. As soon as Tavaris got comfortable and looked like a servicable NFL QB, they started to comeback. Make no mistake that the skins would have collapsed had a fat, lazy lineman not bailed them out by not getting off the field.

Of course, but that works both ways.

With everything to play for and playing at home, against the Cowboys, I expect the Commanders to play their absolute best. We have nothing to play for and we will likely rest some guys. Still, because it is the Commanders we have a reason to play to win so I expect a good game.

If we go into FedEx Field and come out with a win, in a game with nothing on the line for us, knocking the Commanders out of the playoffs, that would be ultra-sweet!

The NFC East is the toughest division in football and we could end up with every team at or above 8-8 if the Eagles beat Buffalo in Philly next week. Every game against a division rival is a tough one and that is what makes this so much fun!

hmm i went to a public school they don't mix religion with history

i know david and goliah was a small veruses big guy
