The issue for the Cowboys is this draft is really bad.

it does suck at the top. There is like three or four real blue chip picks and that is it. After that, honestly from about pick 15 to the middle of the second round there is not that much difference
which means trading back is unlikely to happen

I did it worse, took off the game after packers made it 27-16

Someone could fall in love with Simpson like the Giants did with Dart last draft. This draft scares me. I have never seen a draft in recent memory with so few blue chip prospects. Hopefully as we get to the combine players will step up. I am still upset we traded extra first round pick for 2027.

You can trade down with anyone. You never know what teams might trade up for. Jackson Dart, Arnold two years ago, and the Falcons trading for Pearce. Anything can happen. 12 and 20 are great spots to have in any draft. Now do you trust our front office to get it right.

They do have a strong track record in rd 1, especially picks not at the end of the rd. We all hated the Booker pick, but that did hit on him.
