Schedule falls in our favor for once

Lawrence will appeal his 4 game suspension but even if he loses and we don't have him or Gregory for the first month of the season we should be able to overcome their absences.

Giants
Commanders
Bears
Niners

Thats arguably the easiest stretch of the schedule for us, 4 teams that will have a difficult time matching up with out run game. And outside of the Giants, those offenses don't really have the potential to put up 35 on the scoreboard.

Lawrence and Gregory come back just in time for our back to back match ups of CIN and GB where we'll really need a jolt in pass rush.

The Commanders look like an ascending team who just had another strong draft.

The Giants offense is poised to be ridiculous and they just spent a fortune on the defensive side of the ball.

I'm not looking forward to those division games at less than full strength.

We need passrush to disrupt Eli and force him into mistakes. I'm hoping this can be found from the interior, as I don't see Eli as a great outside the pocket passer.

These games matter, I wouldn't call them a cake walk by any stretch but I guess it could be worse.

Hard to say a day before the games let alone months. We haven't gotten to any football at all yet. Those teams as well will suffer injury, suspension etc. it's football. It's inevitable.

It also helps having played Chipster four times already. I really hope they trade Kaepernick because I think he'd actually be better in that offense than anyone was in Philly.

IMO 2-2. The Skins are improved from the draft and are finally set at QB. Like it or not they are proven contenders from last year and will be a handful with much improved corners...etc. on defense. The Giants in the same boat with more offensive weapons. Eli will be throwing all over the field on us and not sure if we have any defensive improvements to slow them down. It's all up to Romo's health and a ball control offense to compete this year.

Not sure I buy the Commanders are better. I get the "added talent" but Matt cassel found a way to beat them. Call me crazy but I'm optimistic tony Dez and co can...

Today I learned that going 9-7 in a crappy divison without beating a single team with a winning record makes you a proven contender.
