We need to use what i call the "Avery Johnson Method". Several years ago he made Devin Harris shoot One Thousand jumpers a day . Because he was inconsistent from the field.

I say folk kicks one thousand field goals a day until he gets it.

There is no way a HC worth a dang could watch him spray the ball all over the field in warm ups (looks like me on the driving range) and think he could rely on him in the game.

That pre-game footage was one of the most unbelievable things I've seen on TV in a long time.

i have to agree with you. I saw them and was like, is this some kind of joke because clearly no kicker could be that off so many times in what look like chip shot practice kicks.

It was embarrassing to see that.

There is no reason why a professional should be missing that badly on chip shot FG attempts off the tee. Those kicks where alarmingly bad...absolutely horrible...not even in same zip code bad.

It sucks because I really liked Folk, but when a chip shot FG makes you nervous and the team has to even consider thinking about going for it on 4th just because you are afraid the kicker will miss, it is time for that kicker to go.

No way in hell we can go into the playoffs with Folk kicking like this. He was dam lucky his miss tonight did not cost us the ****ing game!!!!!

We won big today, but the situation with Folk and McBriar is troubling. McBriar was clearly taking the blame for his buddy and just hoping he would pull out of it in time. That didn't happen and we are now down to the last 2 games with a kicker on his second holder missing chip shot FGs.

Exactly, McBriar has to accept alot of the blame here. Him lying to cover for his roommate and BFF is now put the team in a very bad situation. If McBriar would have been honest about the situation, we could have been looking for a new kicker weeks ago.

Now we are ****ed!!! We have our franchise QB holding because the punter lied and we have a kicker that may not even be able to kick PATs now. We are going into week 16 fighting for a division title and the kicker market has been picked clean.

Like I said, we have a major problem right now. Missing FGs in the playoffs will send your arse home.

thats it too, you have to trust your kicker to make those shots because that 3 points would of guaranteed us a win, but he missed what was just a few yards more than a extra point kick would be.

I swear, I was watching this game at a bar, half cowboy fans and half just people sitting around drinking, and when he missed that kick - everyone in that bar, in harmony almost, said how do you miss that kick?

We were lucky our defense stepped up to the plate with that last drive considering the lead you had get squished to just 7 points and a kick that would of sealed the deal just flopped. They stepped up and played hard. Thank god for that.

I would just like t ad it isn't easy making those kicks with a high percentage IF just anyone could do it they won't have million dollar contracts and it would be easier to find a replacement. Look even or other punters/kickers on team cannot even do it.

We are used to folk making everything, but some times he can miss just like the great brees can throw an interception.

yeah, it's sad, but you know what's JUST as sad? The way he tried to throw McBriar under the bus. I wouldn't mind of they just cut Nick: seriously, that revealed alot about his character: or lack thereof IMO....

As it should be....think about it, a kicker is possibly the only player who can single handidly lose a game for you. He needs to be released, benched or placed on IR, but he shouldn't be the kicker for the Dallas Cowboys for the remainder of the season.
