Everyone is blaming Goodell, but has anyone realized that it was Dominque Foxworth and the players' union who actually proposed these changes? Goodell simply said that it was fine with the league if that's what they wanted to do.

Yes they are. Per the NFL.com article

Players will be assigned to teams through the Pro Bowl Draft, in which two leading vote getters will join two NFL.com fantasy football champions -- who will attend the Pro Bowl -- to draft players. One of these champions will earn their spot as part of Lenovo's Fantasy Coach of the Year program, which provides NFL.com fans a chance to be rewarded for their fantasy football skills. The other champion can compete for a Pro Bowl role by playing at NFL.com/fantasy.

They need to go back to playing after the Super Bowl. Fans still get their football fix and the players and media get a nice vacation to Hawaii. Playing before the SB rushes things too much. It was better having the SB and championship game guys there as well. More skills competitions during the week and less worrying about the actual game. Preseason and Pro Bowl games will never be like real football no matter how bad they want it to count.

I can't believe nobody is seeing the big picture...These are rules that they are going to be testing out to see how they go. They are giving these rules a test run for the following season. I seen where Josh Cribbs was pissed that they left out the kick returner off the pro-bowl roster. He had some tweets saying he was glad he got in while he could and that in a few years there won't be any guys becoming stars doing what he has done. Also, the dumbest rule of them all is change of possession at the end of each quarter. WHAT A DUMB IDEA, and this will change the entire game. So if you end the 1st quarter at the 1 yard line, you don't get the ball at the beginning of the 2nd quarter, WTH is wrong with these people..They made all kinds of new rules about when the time will start and stop, and created 2 min. warnings at the end of every quarter now. I promise you these are rules they will be brining into the league within a few years....DUMB!!!
