It's depressing knowing we are stuck with this clown for at least another 2 years and probably more.

No real need to be overly anxious to find out who the next clown will be.

Jerry should just take the sidelines himself at that point at 87 years old. Who could possibly be better?

That's fair. I am very happy with Schotty and think he will do well and like what I have seen from him regardless of the crash and burn season, but no prior experience and year one wins only 7 games on a team with an owner who is feeling his mortality and thinks he has given the coaches better talent than he actually has. Being on the hot seat before week one and after week 18 aren't the same. Let's re-visit after the year and especially if this historically cheap in FA team finally opens up their wallets

It all depends on many factors for a HC to be fired.
The main thing is the owner, and he /she could decide to fire them at any point in time.
Or they could keep them for a long time you never know.

LaFleur just signed an extension last month

Vikings GM signed a huge extension in May and they just fired him. Depends on how willing the owner is to take on dead money (and GB has no owner to say no to that)

** Every coaching cycle has a surprise firing or resignation ( keep an eye on Andy Reid for 2026)
** Dave Canales has no business on the list. Replace him with Kellen Moore

** Shannahan could become next season's Tomlin or Harbaugh if the 49ers miss the playoffs. There are nuggets that some in league circles think he's burned out and may need a change.

Schotty is in the top 3 for sure....He better make the playoffs...that's for sure. Anything less....I can see the trap door on all of this circus getting pulled.

It's not like Schotty has had only one year....His influence has been here for a while.
