Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer goes in depth in Kenneth Murray and Logan Wilson and says Murray is playing better than what your eyes are seeing in real time:
“When we added Logan, we were just trying to add depth, getting better. K9, I love his physicality. Man, I love the fact that he can run and hit, and you talk a little bit at times about his, you know, his eye progression and seeing things like that. Logan's been here a couple weeks. I think both guys give us, you know, a chance to play well and win, and again to the naked eye, you know, sometimes you look at things and you're, like, oh, it's that guy's fault, or it's this guy's fault or shotty's the problem or whatever. And you know, that's what we sign up for, but at the same time, it's not always what you are dealing with, and so what we need to do for a defensive stand point, is get back to playing the way that we were against Philadelphia late Kansas City for the most part throughout the game in Las Vegas and, that's not just about one guy. It's about all the guys, but right, communicating, and things like that and I do like the competition that we created in that room”
