I'm trying to figure out what is the hidden message we are being told here.

Jack Sanborn, Kenneth Murray and Logan Wilson.

The only insight I can glean out of these linebackers is the other lot can't line up a defence if their life depended on it. That's why these three players still have a roster spot in 2025. They are the only ones who can answer to chalkboard questions correctly in practice and film study period.

High on the Dallas acquisition list for next year...a defensive field general who can PLAY in the MLB in the top 30-40 range for overall linebackers. If we are lining someone who is currently ranks 90 something out of 90 something linebackers, then even a nominal improvement would result in gains for this defence.

Naw dog. That's exactly what I mean by modern entitlement culture. People think they deserve equal this and that, despite their lack of effort, performance, and output.

First off, if you get paid that amount of money, you simply show up to work. You do not bite the hand that feeds you.

Secondly, either you care as a player, or you don't. Diggs gets paid, but doesn't have to works because he doesn't like his boss? What happens to you if you take that approach at work?

There are hardcore men out here showing up to work in oil field or at the coal mine for chump change to support their families.

I doubt guys out there playing for league minimum appreciate the lack of effort. But it's these same ungrateful types that blow their fortune and end up broke 5 years after retirement.

It's been going on since early in the preseason but early in games when he did come back it wasn't just that he didn't want to tackle I believe he's been making waves and team meetings he's been late he's been anti zone and I don't blame him I don't want to play for Matt either and I'm not even a professional football player but I would not want to be on this team on that defense but he makes $19 million he's a veteran corner and we're still short at corner I don't care what he's doing at practice Make nice you should have played him against the Lions and we could all saw for ourselves whether he was good or bad but I just don't buy the fact that You think somehow a guy like Stuart or Bridges or some of these low hanging fruit are absolutely better just because they practice better?

In my opinion they made a mistake not letting him play for the Lions we could have seen it good bad or indifferent but he's a veteran and we need corners you should have just let him play out the season and get rid of him in the OS...

Yeah that's not it though and I and I believe they're not the only ones to see this I realize most of what we see two or three times a game he's doing something that frustrate fans that hurt the team they're saying when you look at his tape 100 percent of his snaps that what we might be seeing is not all his fault that he's playing better than what we're seeing with our eyes as far as who they know is supposed to be where and doing what there are some other players that are out of position forcing a guy like 59 to have to go try to make up for their absence in a gap or something..

Guy get it but somebody on Twitter who's a regular content creator for the Cowboys He's on there all the time very serious he said he broke down all the film just to see what the coaches might be talking about and he says he tends to agree it's not all bad and the thinking behind that too it's not just the money the people behind them are not much better Pulling him for the cheaper player you think that's the narrative it's not the cheaper players also not any good They're also not doing their jobs we've seen the rookie James be all out of place this is like everybody called for Guyton to be removed because they thought Nate Thomas had something well that was the truth until you see him play all game spot duty does not expose you but being in all games.

I get what you guys are saying because I don't want to see the guy on the field either but I'm also not an expert and what we see in four or 5 cut ups that we remember in the game is different than the other 49 snaps that he might have did it right and that's what they're saying they're saying he's showing up he's practicing the game plans properly he's getting everybody in game prep in practice where they're supposed to be and he seems to know the game plan and there's not a lot of other guys that can or do and whether you want to buy it or not I'm hearing there are some other people that have actually went back and did film cut ups with just 59 plays and that he's not as bad as people are making him out to be..

It's not a smear campaign why would you want a smear campaign a guy that you could possibly trade if he's healthy he has some kind of trade value whether that's a low round pick you can get for him but if they smear him how they going to get anything for him that would be really dumb and I don't believe that for a minute They're telling the truth and most of you don't like it because at one point Diggs is a popular player with the Cowboys fan base He's very mild mannered seemingly humble nice player plus he's had some great years but for the last two years he's been injured and now he's playing on a defense he doesn't want to play without his friend Parsons we can Add all that in there he don't want to play zone he don't want to tackle and when he's in meetings he's been insubordinate on the practice field he's probably had bad body language he probably jogging around you know loafing and they don't like it so they sat him there is no conspiracy here..

Cowboys team could use diggs but I think he got under his skin in practice and meetings.. I mean at the very least you'd want to play this player healthy have them do at least some positive things on the field and then you can shut them down when we're mathematically eliminated and you can at least get some trade value a 5th or something..

You smear this guy and it wasn't true all you're doing is lowering his value and making it almost impossible to trade him you have to cut him..

Please don't say he has no trade value. If players like Elam and there are many others I don't have to sit here and list them all and at all positions but let's just stick the corner we've seen it all year we've seen teams give up anything from a 5th through 7th for a corner like this and he has a reputation that he's done it before and maybe can do it again so you can at least get something more than A cup of coffee for him if you smear him you're not getting that...

Again I'm gonna say it for the last time this man is not being smeared They're telling the truth and fans don't like to believe it because it's coming from this front office but I believe Schottenheimer would put this kid on the field if he thought he can add something to the team but they don't want somebody playing who doesn't want to be here Nobody likes that defense but a lot of these guys are still going out and practicing hard and playing as hard as they possibly can even though they're being blamed for everything Matt's supposed to be blamed for,

I get the frustration, but he needs to do his job at $19 million he owes the team for two years of doing nothing, either a refund or to get his **** in practice and do it the right way, so he can get on the field, and apparently he's not...

Whether due to injury or some other reason, Diggs has not been good this year. There is no denying that. He is not worth his salary and the team is better off using his cap space elsewhere next year. Clearly there are some teams that could make a case for not playing him, but if you watch the Cowboys and think he isn't at least one of our let's say top 4 CBs right now (because that's what you are saying if you aren't playing him) you just hate Diggs

It's such a shame that he's let it come to this point. It's not like we have a robust secondary and don't need the help.

I honestly think injuries derailed him and that may have had some issues with his mental.
 
I dont believe this is coming from the HC, he is kust repeating what Jerry is telling him.....this HC has no power when it comes to personnel IMO
