Right now I put my trust in what Parker wants to run his defense. If that is a trade for Crosby, then great but this isn't a one player FA get it done thing.

We're led to believe by the powers that be, to believe that high quality additions will be forthcoming to enhance this team's defense. That usually means this may or may not be the case. It would be nice if we were just one player away from going to the Super Bowl. We aren’t. We need about five to six new players on defense. Also, $30 million per year, or even close to it, when we already franchised Pickens, might be a bit of a stretch—especially when combined with giving up a first-round pick for him. It’s just too much.
