Schrager: I expect the Cowboys to put up those Louis Vuitton and Giorgio Armani prices in FA

My optimism is buried away so deep bro.
I'm just throwing out a realistic scenario that would actually get that optimism a little closer to surface level.

Then maybe I wouldn't be so much of a hater this year.
Please don't be a hater around here you must only speak well of the cowboys you must put them above your family, your job, your everything!! For if you don't, they will bash you! You are not to have your own opinion either you just think as they think lol

I would be man enough to own up and give Jerry his props IF he at least did in fact go all in and it didn't work out.

By that I mean I would respect the fact that he did finally give it a legitimate attempt at trying to win a championship.

If it failed, so be it.
He did genuinely try.
And I could live with that.

No more half measures or even less and sold as trying.
Go for it.

After 3 decades of pretty consistently lying to us, it would be hard to be overly critical of pushing all the chips and be all in.

I know man,
There's nothing to lose.

They'll make their profits regardless.
Freakin' do it Jerry!

This shows how weak the class is and how expensive it’s gonna be
27 year old former 1st round pick that played on his 5th year option and was 2nd team all pro and probowl last season?

Better to swing and miss then not swing at all. Even Jerry doesn't want his tombstone to read " We hung around the rim".

Right now I put my trust in what Parker wants to run his defense. If that is a trade for Crosby, then great but this isn't a one player FA get it done thing.

Now if we trade for Crosby, sign a LB, CB and Safety that Parker wants then more than happy to have a great deal of hope in 2026.

Yep, exactly man.

His legacy of actually having never "legitimately" tried.

I mean he's got to at least see last year's New England example and consider it, doesn't he?

If only for a nano second even?

smh

Schrager is always right about everything and nailed the Booker pick last year.

It's happening.
Not so fast, the league's worse GM might get arrested for trying to shoplift a player or two.................

If they go out and get Crosby, I’ll say it’s going to be another disappointing season. We will need corners, safeties, and linebackers more than one big star who will command $35 million per year and might not fit Parker’s defensive scheme.

Crosby ain't fixing our defense while we have bigger holes in linebacker, corner and safety positions to be filled.

Crosby has a 3 yr contract left. He makes 30 million this year and it slightly declines each year.

We're led to believe by the powers that be, to believe that high quality additions will be forthcoming to enhance this team's defense. That usually means this may or may not be the case. Let's hope that this upcoming season will see such promises actually happen. Better cross your fingers and toes, folks! ;)

It would be nice if we were just one player away from going to the Super Bowl. We aren’t. We need about five to six new players on defense. Also, $30 million per year, or even close to it, when we already franchised Pickens, might be a bit of a stretch—especially when combined with giving up a first-round pick for him. It’s just too much.

None of these guys know what they’re talking about. At least we won’t know until March 9-11th.
