Man. It's like poking a puppy in the eye with you guys, except I feel so good just thinking about doing it.
How's the offseason been, anyway? That draft looking good yet? When do your OTAs start up again?

I'll answer those questions on Monday when you guys will be discussing next season for your team as well.

All skepticism is fully warranted. Hell, I would not be surprised in the least bit if we were still spinning our wheels 4-5-6 years from now. However, this is the move they've needed to do since Casserly was fired. We have not had a scouting-draft-develop focus ever under Snyder. Ever.

So IF (I want to make that "if" roughly the size of the Himalayas) Snyder stays out of the way, this could be that point where a terribly run franchise turns the corner: i.e. Bidwell getting out of the way in Arizona. No one can question McCloughan's record--he's been an instrumental part of rebuilding two franchises. This is the right type of move. Will it work? Results are TBD.

All mockery aside, I think this is a very good move for you guys. Only real questions, as you suggest, are around your owner. So, I hope it's a complete disaster. :)

Will we? We'll be like "What changes to we need to make to build off of our NFCE championship season?" And "what would have gotten us to the NFCCG?" or, if we win, we'll be like "Can we really beat the Seahawks in Seattle twice in one season?" And you'll be all, "how much will it take to move up ton #2 with Tennessee to draft a franchise QB?" And "You guys think they'll take just the three #1s, or will we have to sweeten the pot?" Or maybe even "what do you guys think a good new name for the team would be?"

Either way, we're getting close to that time of the year where everybody's season is ending. You can't expect us to keep winning in the playoffs forever, right? This week, next week, and then #6....that's all we could possibly do this season. Wish us luck representing your NFCE.

This is another grand off season move by the Skins. But Ole Danny Boy is still the owner. Sure he was embarrassed. And oh yea, he's made a huge change that will benefit the franchise. C'mon, is anybody really buying that? Can a leopard change his spots? If Danny really did change his ways its only temporary. He wont be able to help himself before too long and will feel like his toy has been taken away so he'll want to play with it again. And when he does, he'll drive the drunk he hired to hit the bottle with more regularity. This has classic Commanders written all over it.

It's a great move for the Commanders and I'll be curious to see how he drafts and addresses the QB position.

Well, with St. McCloughan in place, we definitely are not trading up. Just remember, thought, no NFCE team has won the division in consecutive years since the Eagles choked in the playoffs four years straight from '01-'04.

Finally, it would not surprise me in the least if the Cowboys went into GB and won. They are playing very well, and getting those breaks all championship teams need.
