scott:im great,. dak , dont know any1 can be perfect in practice, i think dak does everything well to execute in practice and that serves him well taking that to the game, he has been great in practice, unlike him to make a throw that was defended, but dak is aware of taking what defenses gives u, reminder to him to take what team gives u, see that humility and growth, he came to me after a practice after he threw an interception and said coach, your right, i need to take what defense gives, me, not force the ball forsay

scott: college stuff, with dan in college and concepts are similar, true reads, where he saw in drop back, who is outlet, u can see in my argument towards dak that he can do this when presented that to the team,

scott, continue to work in all phasets of passing game, to throwing mechanics, different personal groupings, add some plays that fit him well, i think the great ones do that, work on everything

scott: 12 play roll call that rolls off daks tongue, some play calls your trying to tell everyone what to do, call play based on direction, 4 shift, fake revers, train wreck short, 36 slash ghost, we got a shift, motion, reverse, play call, its a game that goes on offensively and defensively

scott: no edge, splitting reps, on qbs, in ota, chaz, cooper playing center, both cooper and green working well at LG, green looks to be ok, primarly was a OT, but now competing for interior spot, but can give us tackle depth to, and cooper was injured some

scott: scott, lael looks great, big mean nasty talented player, going to have some matchups, some ldes in this league are good, but we think he can play to his ablity

scott, hillman brings change of pace for us, we did that with dunbar, abiltity to play situational football, when he gets his feet on ground and learns our offense, he will be ready to go

scott, its not unusual for dak in his 2nd yr, his job is alittle different, how they approach us in 3rd down, benefitial for us, this was good but we can do these four things now, we cant stay still, and let them do something different to us in 3rd down, so we have to have something to counter that

scott, i think he is fine, keep switzer out some, similar to beasely, he did play rb in high school so that mabye someething we do, i like to get cole and switzer on field at same time, and in 3rd down to have these packages

scott: rico-we can be patient with him, we got 2 tes back from injury, rico will give us a guy with size and big catch radius, he has lots of football to catch up, but u can use him in redzone, best mentor in jason witten and a great te coach, be patient with him to accelerate his progress

scott, i miss tony, love him, think hes going to be great in the booth, tony is real bright, how defenses are playing and show how defenses and show and stop tape and show how their doing that, and what they need to get other players to counter that

Interesting note about Hillman perhaps filling the Lance Dunbar role. The Cowboys might have a more durable option now in Hillman. I think the Broncos wanted him to be an every-down guy and that's just not his game. I'm starting to like this signing.

Hillman is a pretty good player.

He's young, shifty, and he has produced in the NFL at a pretty high level.

He will fumble a little.

I've always liked him. He's done more in this league than Dunbar ever has.

The offensive staff is grilling Dak on operating from the pocket more to counteract what defenses will be doing to contain him this year. He's been working on throwing more stuff up the middle downfield and learning to pick and choose his deliveries. I'm really liking what Linehan is doing to offset what defenses will attempt to do to Dak this year.

Relative to such training, it's no big surprise that occasional picks will occur right now. It will happen at times, until he learns when to drive the ball downfield up the middle and when not to, in favor of looking elsewhere. Ultimately, he should be able to cope better with being restrained from maneuvering to the outside to throw. It's simply about making him a complete QB.

dak is also working on zipping some lasers to the sideline, from the middle to, so he is getting better, takes a arm strength to zip that, which dak has

dak just has to remember what linehan told him, take what the defense gives u, dont throw interceptions like his mother told him not to, dak will be fine,

Easy people. Pump the brakes.

Yeah, that is pretty crazy. Collins has a good skill set, but as we saw yesterday, he isn't there yet. He got whupped multiple times by Crawford and Taco and looked really bad doing so...barely got out of his stance.
