@Philly: Unless I missed it they are missing one heck of a DC and McNabb has had how many seasons exactly of being injury-free? Plus Didn't the Eags re-shuffled OL raise any eyebrows?
@Pats: 9th??? ***? That team is by far number 1 on paper.
@Dallas: Dallas did lose some steam on paper but to 17th? Wow. The Cowboys secondary does not AT ALL look shaky. National perception is always 6 months behind reality. This will be the best Cowboys secondary since we last won a Super Bowl.
Dallas WR corps isn't very strong but they are at least as strong as NYG and we didn't lose the RB depth they did.
I can see why the Eags are fashionable after such a strong close to the 2008 season but people need to accept that they are as inconsistent as Dallas and McNabb has had more questions over the past seasons than Tony Romo.
NFCE Breakdown:
Cowboys: Need to have RW11 step up at WR. Need one of the young WRs to be at least a solid 3rd. Need to get something from an OLB not named Demarcus Ware. Need to finish strong in a division that favors East Coast home teams.
Eagles: Pass rush could be a concern minus Johnson's genius if he were to sit out. On offense they need to keep McNabb healthy behind a brand new OL. Westbrook needs to stay healthy.
Giants: Need to find a suitable WR1 and WR2. WR draftees tend to be the slowest position outside OL to develop. Losing the DC is a concern as he had aggressive pass rush schemes.
Commanders: Need to come to terms with their QB after trying to replace him. Need to develop a pass rush can't put the weight of that on Orakpo alone or he'll be labeled a bust by Christmas.
