Yes. Multiple sources give conflicting info ... Yet you wanna go with an untenable belief that it is a good measure. Good measures can be quantified and operationalized in a manner that provides consistent outcomes. Sacks allowed clearly aren't that. Yet you persist in your claims.

Wow. Talk about ignoring fact.

Are you having a bad day or something? You seem to be arguing just to argue.

You think coaches don't keep track of sacks allowed? You think they don't keep track of missed assignments? Or catches and touchdowns allowed by defensive players?

Please.

Anyone can find a stat to back up their own narrative. Put down the stat sheets, watch games and come to your own conclusions.

10. Just my opinion, but Darrion Weems has a chance to be a much better player than what the Cowboys got from Jermey Parnell as that backup tackle. Weems is a better athlete and his football intelligence is improving with every snap that he is receiving. I also believe that he is a more consistent performer than Parnell, who could be too up and down. He’s stable.

It's like Broaddus hasn't even heard of YouTube making a statement like that.

This goes to my point about how useless the sack given up stat is. We've got three sources with several different results. It doesn't really matter who we FEEL should be the most accurate - by definition, if a metric cannot be applied consistently, it cannot be a valid measure.

So what all this conflicting information suggests is that people gotta get off the sack statistic. It isn't meaningful.

Right. Watch the games and trust your eyes. Don't be one of these stat geeks who let others think for them.

Here's a thought - Neither Parnell or Weems is worth talking about.

Agree with that. I expect we've got our RT on the roster though.

I'll work on my issues if you will!

Cool.

I stayed in the debate(s) with you because I thought you were trying to make a point. I try to ignore posters that appear to just want to criticize other posters but that really don't have a point. I consider that a form of trolling. There is one of those posters is this very thread.

Speaking of Matt Johnson I think the Cowboy's store is having a sale on his jersey.

The funny thing is that some posters seem to think they proved that Matt Johnson had no talent. In reality nobody really knows about his talent because he was always injured. The fact that his career failed due to injuries is not proof that he didn't have the talent to play in the NFL.
