Crazy how all over the board these O lineman are. I've seen all of Flowers, Cummings, and Collins anywhere from top 10 to outside of the top 32.

The Scout's rankings contain several players that are not even in this draft (Calhoun, Jalon Mills, Noah Spence, Charles Tapper).

That kind of sloppy work really irks me.

With errors like that, how are we supposed to take any of their rankings seriously?

I thought I'd see Jay Aijay from Boise st also on that list

They can rank them as they see them, but to include players not even in this draft, that is inexcusable. Especially since some people pay for that "expertise".

Yeah, I know I take this draft stuff way too seriously, but I 100 percent agree with your take.

I also wonder about ESPN putting a Georgia Tech player at 110. I mean, come on....

La'el Collins at 35 is way lower than I've been seeing him elsewhere. Overall, he seems to be pretty highly thought of and usually projected to go to 20 in the draft.

Carl Davis DT Iowa is an intriguing prospect for the 27th pick. Gonna keep an eye on him at the combine. Strong Senior Bowl showing for the scouts in practices.

Heard his interviews were really bad, as in character red flag bad. I guess we will see in the combine as to how he does, if it is any better.

He said that he didn't go all out in practice because some young guy trying to make a name for himself might cause him to get injured. He said he would be most effective if he only played 1/2 the snaps or something to that effect.

Yep. That isn't going to endear Davis to "Mr. 100 mph" himself... Rod Marinelli. And I'm thinking Garrett won't think that is RKG material.

It's also possible that some team exaggerated what he said to cause his draft stock to drop. I've heard that teams have definitely done that type of thing in the past.

Davis is bigger than most DTs that have ever played for Marinelli. Josh Brent is the only 320+ guy that I know of to play for Marinelli and I think the front office pushed for Brent to be on the team.

Connor Cook would be a steel in this draft at 61.

Quinten Rollins 106 and Nate Orchard 118 seem like good values.

One player that I'm watching is Sammie Coates. He measured in at 6'2" 213 for the Senior Bowl. Mayock mentioned three receivers that could threaten the Combine record for the 40--Devin Street, Phillip Dorsett, and Coates. Daniel Jeremiah said that Coates looks identical to Terrell Owens when he runs. Coates doesn't have great hands--neither did Owens. I don't think the Cowboys are likely to draft him, but the upside on this guy could be special.
