I saw that list yesterday and Manziel 23rd frightens me...if he truly falls, then JJ will get all giddy...to the detriment of the team...

he won't fall out of the top 10. Perfect example of how QBs are over drafted

I don't think he will either, but you never know...maybe he gets (publicly) drunk in the next two months and that one thread that teams are hanging on to gets snapped...I don't want to sound like a paranoid penny, but the team has a shot to be competitive with good draft and FA selections...Manziel sets the entire process backwards

now, if the team finds out that Romo is so injured that he can't play again, then QB should be a focus...but not manziel...I hope that he is gone by #8

Manziel will sell tickets. It is a business and not necessarily the business of winning.

Yup, it was a huge detriment to Green Bay when the Packers drafted Aaron Rogers in 2005. Oh, and how old was Brett Favre when Rodgers was drafted? Favre was 35, and Romo will be 34.

but as you put it he would have to do something really stupid. Othewise he goes in the top 10. Deal with the probabilities not the crazy possibilities

Sounds simple. But in practice it may be tough. With a draft as deep as this one, every team will want to trade down for more picks. I'm sure JJ can find a trade....but, will it be a good one? I'm not sure you will really be able to get what you want for a pick.

Why does it not surprise me that you would compare the Manziel to Rogers, lol
