Kiper says he almost put Jack Conklin over Laremy Tunsil as the top OT.

Trade back and pick up a 2nd and 3rd. Go Karl Joseph and Mackensie Alexander in the 2nd then a wr and rb in the 3rd.

Alexander

What's it going to be then, eh?

He appears to be rising.

I am chalking this up to the fact that he is likely to go higher than expected due to the Titans trade down.

You can't tell me they looked at Conklin again and suddenly decided they take him from a low first all the way into the top ten otherwise.

I don't get how Tunsil goes from being Tyron Smith reincarnated to less than Jack Conklin in the space of two weeks.

Kiper always did this before but he is doing it even moreso since others are invading the industry he helped create.

You see why it was so easy for Tenn to trade back. Beside the epically huge haul they got, there are 3 LTs in the top 7 and 4 in the top 17. If they want one they can get one, no problem.

btw
Are there still people here that wish to burn the 4th overall pick (again, about equal to two mid-range 1st rounders) on Paxton Lynch?

Did Chris Jones fly up boards or what?

Whatever people want to say about the specific rankings, seeing it laid out here makes you realize that it's a really deep draft. I'd try and trade down, if possible, now that the top QB's are gone.

Agreed. I think any team would be foolish to take Conklin over Tunsil or Stanley.

Tunsil, yes.

I think if you watch Stanley and Conklin it comes down more to preference. Those two are both so effective, but entirely different players.
Conklin is a flat out animal. If you don't already have an edge to your line group, he may be just what you're looking for.
Stanley seems more naturally gifted but maybe not with quite the same killer instinct.

Both really good players.

In a league with athletic DEs, I take the athletic LT easily over the grinder.
