You probably still have images of UDFA Heath getting owned by Calvin.

I prefer the image of him diving to pick off Rodgers in the playoffs last year.

Truth is, nobody knows if he'll be a decent starter or not. Optimism doesn't hurt though.

Agreed. Heath made more plays in the playoff game last year alone than Jones has in his entire Cowboys tenure.

I have been critical of Heath in the past. But I am willing to give him a shot. I know some people really liked Church but I thought he was a bit overrated so the bar that Heath has to bang his head on isn't that high IMO.

The increase in speed of the defense this year is going to be very apparent from the first real snap. Guys like Heath, Jaylon, and Cheeto (who I think ends up starting) are going to be real upgrades in that department.

Lewis isnt slow either. The entire defense is much faster than last season. Charlton may not run fast, but his first step is quick as can be. I think our defense is going to be damn good this season TBH
