Any word how he is looking in practice? Game shape yet? Looking rusty? Looking Good?

Tucker has really sent the Flo injury Chicken littles into a tailspin. Props to Tucker - so far

Isn't he the guy with the parrot? Ooops, that was Baretta! Columbo was the Body building dude.

If there was word on how he is doing it would be posted by now. This forum misses nothing because the posters are awesome.

I will say this, I have high hopes his FG blocking abilities will start reversing the high percentage of made FGs against us by him blocking a couple.

Nors, I've been wondering the same thing about Columbo, too, but so far, I haven't heard anything about him yet. Considering what we've invested in him, if he just gives us some depth, good....but if he steps it up and does even more for us....that's all just gravy, IMO.

I'm all for putting our biggest and best athletes in position to make plays.

Colombo has to be able to contribute more than blocking FGs to get on the gameday roster.

We have often only taken 7 OL to the game a few times this year - the starters, Gurode(backup center and guard) and the backup tackle (was Tucker, now Noll). A few times we have taken 8 and I suspect the #8 guy is Peterman. Unless Colombo becomes number one backup at OT (has to jump over Noll and Brooks) then he will probably not be active.

I never would've guessed since you handled the Dat injury in such a subtle manner.

I suppose you don't subscribe to the old saying, "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog."

Well I like the thread title, screw TO...right on, let's get on with the games.

I'm pumped for Monday night. Get the game face on fellow fans, and even though the REAL Eagles (the flying kind) are considered an endangered species (are they still?).................let's kill some EAGLES, the football kind, in their own nest.

In the new fight Dat is in he just physically can't handle the bigger Wolves that are beating on him.....

I Parcells words, Dat is used to hiding behind people, in this defense you can't do that. Called Shanle bigger and more physical.

I get the size and fight analogy.

Why on a Dallas board is it all day TO? Screw it as we are going to club them a 2nd time.

The Cowboys haven't even practiced in pads since signing Colombo, so there's nothing on which to judge him yet.

I dunno how he'll turn out, but im optomistic. Parcells thought enough of him to get him even though he probably wont contribute this year. I think after one more offseason he could possibly become a starter or at least great depth, i love these kind of signings.

Until Columbo demonstrates anything, this is a low risk-high reward gamble.

Just like Ryan Leaf.

Just like Quentin Coryatt.

Just like Carl Pickens.

You know the name, but the production has never been there.
