On their message boards most are predicting 30+ points from their Hawks....

I personally think the Texans game was the worst thing for them...false sense of what they can do against a very good D....

Sounds exactly like the Giants fans last week.

Wonder what they are saying now?

I guess it is possible...if our offense gets off track and then everything else goes south.

But I doubt it.

Hey the fans of the other teams we have played (maybe minus the 49ers fans) thought they would hang a huge amount and win against us.

Then again I do recall a few posters here saying we would beat the giants by even more points. :laugh2:

They are quoting Eli and stating they shot themselves in the foot...giving no credit to our D.

Thats why they play the games. I think we will be ready and they know they have lost 2 in a row to us granted 1 was a preseason game.

The game will be close, if we can contain Alexander and put the game on Matt's arm then we should win. If they get Shuan going then we could be in for a long day.

I guess they didn't pay attention to what happened against the (then) #1 offense and #1 scoring offense in consecutive weeks. Sounds like overconfidence for a team without their top two receivers.

The Seahawks have a good team and Alexander is having a great year so far but they haven't really faced a defense like ours yet. The two best defenses they have faced so far were the Jags and Commanders, both of whom they lost to and scored 14 and 17 against respectively.

I consider our defense to be superior to both the Jags and Skins so I don't really see how the Seahawks could expect to score twice as much against us. Putting up big numbers against the Cards, Rams, and Texans means nothing since they are all ranked near the bottom in defense.

I see a reality check is in order.

Actually they have or had the number 1 O in the NFL last week not sure now. The Giants had the number 1 Scoring O. SO we will be facing the best two O's in each catagorey on consecutive weeks.

Seems like a weekly prediction:

I don't think we are "superior" to anyone in any category at this point. The Jags have 2 of the best DT in the game, and have very good run D. The skins are just tough to play (see 14-13 loss). We seem to game plan pretty well for the big time RBs, so let's see how this will play out. We need to contain the run and the CBs need to play up to their ability.

They have been respectful to me...so do the same. For me living in the NW I root for the Seahawks when they are not playing against the Boys of course...

Root for....
Coyboys 1
Anyone playing against division rival 2
Sehawks 3

So posting we're gonna curbstomp you just like your boy Hamlin might be a tad bit out of line?

Before you get all uptight, I'm only kidding.

Well I do have a warped sense of humor, but usually I keep it in check.

I read a few posts already, and they seem to think they should have garnered more sympathy on MNF about the Hamlin situation. With tidbits like this:

Believe me, if this was a Cowboy, Giant, Jet or Raider it would have been the lead story at the beginning of the game, at half time, and with regular updates throughout

It's hard to resist. I think the situation was treated with brevity because the details thus far indicate Hamlin was the aggressor and refused to back down. Who knows what really happened though.

Hamlin does seem like a guy that won’t back down.

You must have missed that the Jags are ranked 24th vs the run. The Skins are ranked 14th and we are #8.

Check it out: http://www.nfl.com/stats/teamsort/NFL/DEF-RUSHING/2005/regular

If nothing else we are superior to both teams vs the run (yards per game).
