I used to not care so much about rbs ability to pass protect, but with romo being an older qb with a history of back troubles, I'm not interested. Probably not an upgrade of Randle anyways....

Our OL is the GOAT and that is one thing that was exaggerated about Murray. He wasn't great at pass protection either.

CM was once great.

At 5'10" 221# out of Beaumont West Brook, he won the Walter Payton Trophy in 2009 as the nation's best high school athlete.
He excelled in FB and track, having a 11.02 100 meters. He ran sub-4.5 40's, and he entered the draft as the #3 RB prospect in the nation.

He sustained a tibial fracture injury at A&M in 2010, and struggled to return to form.

His combine 40 was 4.54 and 3-cone was 6.69, but he may have lost some lateral quickness and agility, seeing time mostly in short yardage situations.

So, a cheap look would seem reasonable, as he may have now had time to mend while limiting contact.
But he will likely be an insurance pick up following a rash of injuries for some unfortunate team.
