You don't pay guys for what they've done in the past. You pay them for what you think they can do in the future. I'm not in favor of paying anyone other than a qb 10mil+ per year. It's usually not smart.

Outside of Wagner, they have all of their key players locked up for the next 2 years and he's getting a contract as well.

Didn't know that, thanks for info. So Sherman, Thomas-Chancellor, and Wilson (would let him go) got new deals already? Easier to do without Franchise QB money and am starting to believe they make look elsewhere for a bus driver.

Let's just be honest guys, The market for a RB like Demarco is around 8-10 million dollars per year. If you put him in the Jamal Charles, Shady McCoy and Marshawn Lynch class that's what he's probably looking to get.

Plus I think Jerry thinks it's more the o-line than it was Demarco going back to some comments Jerry said earlier in the year when he said Joseph Randle would put up similar numbers if he got more touches.

Jerry loves proving people wrong and I bet Jerry would love to say see I told you it was my o-line that can make a star out of any good rb.

I don't think he's as talented as Charles shady or lynch. I definitely wouldn't pay him more than 6

Maxwell will be a free agent so they will probably lose him. Let Wilson go? Is that a joke?

Seattle is just beginning to experience the problem of success. Dallas has already gone that. Seattle also very lucky to have their franchise QB so young playing in his rookie contract. If they sign Lynch to that contract slowly it will take away the depth of that team which has been so instrumental in its success.

Anyone hating on Lynch really needs to watch him on Conan with Gronk. Just YouTube "Marshawn Lynch Conan" and you'll see it. The dude has a huge personality and isn't afraid to talk it up with other outlets it's just the NFL media really.

Which is beyond hypocritical by Lynch. He can yuck it up with Conan, in front of a national audience for all the world to see, but can't do his job in front of the NFL media.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to answer to the media.

Bottom line, Lynch is a crybaby that plays the victim, and he has a lot of y'all fooled.

1,200 yards is the new staple? And he is the focal point of the offense. His runs have MB toughness to the them but SEA would be dumb to resign him to that contract. Sherman, Wagner, Wilson, Thomas, etc. coming up too. How do you keep that team together? 75 yds a game can easily be replaced I would think?

if you could give me 4 1200+ yard seasons in a row, or one 1800 yard season...I would take the 4 every time.

And yes, it would be dumb. Except the seahawks arent worried about keeping the team together. They keep who they want and are confident they can replace whomever leaves via the draft.

Wasn't their Gm saying it'll be tough to keep everyone if they get a new deal with Wilson?
Giving BM 10 million next year would have a large part of the cap dedicated to those two.

No, actually it likely wouldn't. Most new deals are pretty cap friendly in the first couple of years

Somewhere Murray is smiling if he plans on leaving......But if he wants to stay here....I think this deal means little to him

Lynch is an idiot. Wouldn't want him on my team.

Dude grabs his crotch after he scores TD's and acts like a D bag in general, from what I've seen anyways.

He been arrested? On trial for murder? Suspended for drugs? Team hates him? None of the above. That boy can play for me any day of the week. By your logic, Dez should be gone.

I still don't see an actual offer.

10m in the first year could be a signing bonus. Not even close to enough info to make a judgement.

The idea of extending him though shows that they value the running game, something we learned about this year.
