I like your sense of humor! Much mirth, my boy. Yeah, he's all over with his fancy arm tackles. And let me tell you something, if you play his position and DO NOT become the leading tackler there is something seriously wrong with you.
Now get on and give us a hug and don't make me laugh with more yarns about Sean Lee's worth. He would be worth, on the NFL market, a 4th round pick and a barrel of gatorade. But then again, who wants a part-time player? We do, that's who.

Sean Lee has arm tackled his way to the 6th most tackles in the National Football League. I won't make you laugh with any yarns about Lee's worth. Let's face it, you wouldn't understand a word I said anyways.

He's also 2nd among all linebackers in tackles for a loss.

Again, in the position he plays, it would be a crime to not have many tackles. Face it, you and his acolytes, he's not what you call franchise or even a top NFL linebacker. Add his limited appearances in games due to chronic injuries, his worth is, at best, average. Again, when he is not on the injury list.

Sean Lee doesn't mince words.

The Cowboys didn't just happen to fall to the bottom of the NFC East. They aren't closer to a top five pick than a playoff spot due to injuries or bad luck.

They earned it.

"We didn't expect this at all, but this is what we've earned,'' Lee said. "We have to find a way to play better football and we have to find a way to continue building. We haven't done that.

"We have guys in here who have won in the past and we have to get back to that winning formula. That starts with this game and it starts going forward.''

Injuries go a long way in explaining the team's 4-9 record, but Lee refuses to accept that premise.

"You can't use that as an excuse,'' the Cowboys linebacker said. "You have to find a way to win ballgames...

Finally a realistic take from inside the Cowboys organization. Refreshing.

That's like me being at work and stating at 3:30 that I'm gonna go ahead and get started...................I'm off at 4:00.

Sean Lee is 100% correct..........the team earned their 4-9 record and blaming injuries is what losers do, every team has injuries.

There are backup QBs all over the league that come in and win games, just like the Rams last night beat Tampa with their backup QB. Apparently the Rams didn't get the memo that they were supposed to lose every game if their starter goes down. I can name about 10 other teams that have won games with their backup QBs as well, but we all get the point.

Sean Lee gets it as well.

I really hate it when when our fans treat our players with such casual disrespect.

True. We disrespectors come from an era when playoffs were a yearly ritual. When Mao self-criticism of a bad season was no substitute for winning. When players such as Irvin and the Manster and Allen and Howley picked themselves up from the mud or ice of the frozen tundra and kept us in the race.
Today a player like Sean Lee says basically "We suxed this year. Give us a hug for being honest."
That sux. If you are that bad, let the record speak for itself and no self-serving platitudes from a fragile player like him substitute for an era and players that came before him. And were twice as tough and productive.

Alright, lads, Ale and crumpets at the pub. I'll play piano but I expect you all to know the words to "It's a Long, Long Way to Tipperary."

Bring mum and the wife and the kids. We are a friendly sort.

Bro, you need medication and therapy in a bad way! Settle down...it's just a game. lol

And, I sort of agree that it's "just a game" for today's players because they make great money for what they do. But, yeah, back in those days when money was tight, those players had to actually fight for every dollar they worked for, and winning a SB back then gave them another $25,000 bones.

Times change...and I don't look to the past to help me see what is right in front of me. I just have to go with the flow....(by the way...i heard your piano playing, and well...i will leave it at that).
