It may be time to accept that the Tampa-2 is no long viable in football. NCAA ate it up and now we are getting torched. We have at least one very good to elite player at every level of the D and we are still getting man handled.

Garrett is like a freaking toothache, a win covers up his horrible game management but reappears painfully in a loss...

sean lee isn't lying our offense left the middle of the field wide open. Kiffin this defense sucks. Our linebackers left the middle of the field wide open. RB and TE flares are guaranteed 5+ yards.

"Our D was absolutely terrible and it starts with me."

If there is a player on this team with pride it is this guy, but is pride enough? Because he and his compadres were horrific.

Credit him-only- for being stand up about it.

He did suck eggs, just the like the rest of the D......outcoached again by the opponent.....no freaking in game adjustments and/or poor practice and execution. No...., pride is not enough at this point. Show me that you actually practiced or even watched film.

I know most will blame Romo for this loss because he wasn't perfect. That's fair enough. He's the franchise QB and you need him to not make that bad decision in the final 2 minutes. So I certainly understand that and I definitely agree that he made an extremely bad decision there and it sealed a loss for us.

However if anyone is even thinking of over looking how PISS poor this defense has been then you're either blind or flat out stupid. Period. I was scared what Manning would do against this defense and he did pretty much exactly what I thought he would. Over 300 yards and responsible for 5 TDs. He torched this team. At will. They had pretty much no answer for Manning.

Romo made a bad throw at the end, and he deserves his blame for that bad throw, but when your offense gives you 48 points you really should be able to win a football game. I'm sure some will say hey they got a couple takeaways for the offense. Yes. They did. THe offense turned those two takeaways into 14 points for them. They did their job. The defense did not.

What today proved was this. I'm sure the ones who hated Romo anyway will only say that Romo is to blame. That's fine they can do that. What today proved was this. Manning has a good enough team around him that if he makes a mistake, even just one, they can still win. For Romo he is basically going to have to be perfect or this team will not win. It's just that simple.

Romo can not make any mistakes, no matter when they happen, because this defense is terrible. The man throws for 500+ yards and 5 TDs he shouldn't even be in the position to have to go get some more in the final 2 minutes. But with this team that's how it is and it's always going to be. It doesn't matter how great he plays this defense is going to require Romo to be perfection and do it all.

Every single one of you bellyachers predicted a loss, by blowout. If u cannot appreciate how great this game was then u know jack about football. Romo was outplaying Manning until the INT. if Romo had the same time and no calls that Manning was getting it would have been a W. And even then, it was dang close. Denver has been blowing out all of their opponents until now.

But Rob Ryan needed to go, with guys off the street i liked his D better, im okay with these coaches, i love Marinelli, but my frustration is with Kiffen, not the other coaches.

Really thought that our linebackers would fit perfectly in this system, yet they've been awful all year.

THIS SYSTEM....................BLOWS, it did at Tennessee, it did at USC and it does now. OC's figured it out 8 years ago

I'm definitely concerned that this is true.

I love the turnovers we're finally getting and the D is hustling. But the field is just WIDE open for a good QB to exploit. It always looks like we're two guys short.

I hate the fact they changed to the 4-3 when the strength of the team was it's linebackers.

He and Carter are miscast in this scheme. Both have gone from looking like Pro Bowlers to JAGS. Truly a case of trying to fit square pegs into round holes.

even when the brocos go 4 wide how many times did you see bw webb???? the scheme has no real dime matchup package. It relies on lbers to cover wr's

Ding ding ding.

Some of us tried to warn you, but were shouted down with recollections of his work from 20 years ago.

So many talented players on this team, Ware, Carter, Lee, Claiborne, Carr. I just don't understand how they can be so bad.
