I don't understand the mentality of bashing players because they get hurt. Most of these guys play each week with pains that would have the rest of us calling in sick to work because we can't move.
Just look at all the former NFL players out there now who are fighting with the league over how the game affected their quality of life after they retired. I don't feel sorry for them from the standpoint that they chose to play a violent game and be paid for it handsomely (in most cases), but it's silly to call players names or question their "manhood" when each week they put themselves into car wrecks and are lucky to emerge still walking.
Reading some of the comments in this thread (and others about injured players) makes me ashamed of some Cowboys fans.
if I am correct we won both games that he was out

These two "China Dolls" sure like watching the games from the hot tub.
Wait... So we hate Sean Lee now?
At the beginning of the season everyone was loading up on his band wagon calling him the leader this team always needed. lol Now he has reached Miles Austin status.
Stephen Jones when commenting about Mo Claiborne............................."you cant make the club in the tube".
So when fans question the toughness of a player, you are ashamed of them, but Steven Jones can call out the players and you dont say jack about it?.........................Double standard much?
Shock of the day. Sean Lee is hurt & out.
I feel bad for the guy but geez.
Can't rely on players like Lee. How much guaranteed money did we throw at him?

Don't say "everybody"....I can surely say I was warning y'all before the pre-season began. Our fan base is so hungry for winners, leaders, and good players that we "anoint" guys based on hype, potential, and hope. Lee and Carter were two of those players. Along with Johnson, Church, Leary, Claiborne, etc....
huh? you got me there . All I know is that this was a pretty big contract for a non pressure LB that gets hurt a lot. played 7 games a season during the 1st 3 years. Is his average any higher in 2013? He gets 7 mil a year and if he plays in 80% of the games it escalates to 8.5 mil quite a gamble for the next 6 seasons
One Million Dollars Each Game
I remember all that. I remember someone saying Lee was one of the greatest linebackers in the NFL right then. I remember me replying that maybe it was wrong to confer that title on him just yet based on such a small sample size of work. I remember people writing off Murray saying he was a bust. People said a lot of things in the offseason that turned out to be premature.
