He's been a disgrace to the art of playcalling - that call on 3rd downto MBthe3rd was absurd!!! ABSURD!!!! Barber is a borderline NFL Europe player - let alone a 3rd down back v. Oakland.

Idiot!

Yep we aren't any good we need to just give up football in Dallas. It's obvious none of those guys know what they are doing.

They should have put Julius in there. Why give the ball to a rookie who hasn't had a carry all game in such a critical situation?

I am sick of seeing us contiually running up the middle when it is obvious that they were shutting that down. Worst pass defense in the league and we went to the ground game too much. 1 and 10 inside the 10 and how many times did we go to the TE? 0

This unholy alliance to the run game is costing us games. THROW THE BALL!!!!

Playing not to lose sucks! Instead of designing our O gameplan to attack the opponents Defensive weaknesses, we stick to our conservative play not to lose style. Teams don't even need to game plan against us, since they already know we are not going to take any chances to exploit any particular weakness of our opponent. They know, that no matter what deficencies they have on defense, we are not going to alter our play calling to take advantage of it. We were facing a very tough run defense and lousy pass defense team, and what do we do? We continued to try to establish the run between the tackles. DUH!!! Why didn't we just attack their weakness and throw the ball? Simple, because we don't alter our game plan according to our opponent. We used the same game plan against the Raiders that we used against the Chargers, Commanders, and 49ers. Which is, establish the run, don't take chances, keep it close, and play not to lose, and hope our D can hold down our opponents. Problem is, it NEVER works!!!

Because Julius limped off the field after the earlier run. Hard to hand it to a guy who's taken himself out of the game.

They should have played A-Train in that spot. Dont put a rookie in and expect him to do the right thing on blitz pickups. Tyson hung Drew out to dry on that play.

Atfer watching the game, i just think we should turn it loose and be more aggressive on offense. Yeah, still run the ball, but not play with a "not to lose" mentality. We should play with an attitude of "we have nothing to lose" . Now I'm not saying just indiscrimnately throw it all over the place but go deep more often to loosen up these defenses. Granted, Bledsoe did not have the best of games today, but he has the best touch on a deep ball that I have seen in a long time, we need to take advantage of it.

The O-line needs a wake up call this week or else it will be a long year. Like I said in another thread, I think BP has veto power over Payton's play calls and i think it makes Payton tentative because I think Payton is a more aggressive play caller but he is afraid of being chewed out by BP. BP needs to start concentrate more on the defensive play calling more than the offense.
