NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- Sean Payton waited a long time to bring back the trick play he dubbed "the Superdome Special." He picked the wrong time.

Devery Henderson fumbled a late, awkward toss from Reggie Bush, allowing backup quarterback Luke McCown to drive Tampa Bay for a touchdown with 17 seconds left that lifted the Buccaneers to a 27-23 triumph over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

He plays to win, instead of playing not to lose.

STUPID play. Just running out the clock would have worked there. Instead he might have blown the whole season. Real BRILLIANCE is knowing WHEN to pull something like that. (and maybe expecting Bush to be able to pull it off was a reach as well).

I was watching that live and I was just blown away. You are up in the game late in the 4th quarter, in your own end, and you call a reverse? It was as ridiculous as they come. On top of that, Bush throws it backwards when clearly it's a busted play. Nutty.

No, none that I can think of; Leinart is a close second. The Saints miss Deuce, now that's a running back.
