Season is Over

Newman can't cover anymore? What?

He has been brilliant almost all year.

There was no excuse for that play yesterday but Newman still plays at a high level.

He does struggle in zone too. He's much more suited for man defense.

He was better under Wade.

if lee was anything he wouldve replaced brooking a long time ago. because he has been horrible this yr.
What is up with people wanting instant gratification? Most rookies just aren't impact players.

You mean like Chung who did nothing for the Patriots last year and has played solid this year.

lee has shown flashes this year he was behind due to injuries. You arepart of what I call the instant gratification syndrome that has over taken to many fans in the NFL. Yea I think I will pass on your view

still got 5 games left on the schedule genius
For some people, as soon as their team is ineligible for the playoffs, bowl games, etc., the season is "over". That's just defeatist mentality, but here's the really crazy thing:

They keep watching the remaining games more often than not anyway.

I think it is pretty obvious that he was refferring to making the playoffs. There were alot of threads talking about even making the playoffs at 9-7.

He is saying that losing yesterday officially ended any chance of playoffs since we can be no better than 8-8 now.

Brilliant is quite a stretch imo. When he's been healthy, which hasn't been often, he's been pretty good. That's all. Not brilliant, not great.. solid. Inconsistant though, and doesn't make enough plays to justify his huge salary.

The most infuriating play of the game. Props to Scandrick for missing the tackle and taking Ware out at the same time.
