He looked good agaisnt Washington too las year when he came in for ROmo but then when he started next game it was a different story

I don't think to the extent he showed Sunday. You can go on and on, all I can tell you is this is the 1st time in his career he has played in the same system under the same OC and I think it will show as he should be a lot more comfortable in this offense.

Do you think they'll just wait and bring Romo back against the Panthers on Thanksgiving or will they let him go against the Dolphins?

If you asked most ex-players, ex-coaches, current players and current coaches, I'd bet all except for those partial to the Cowboys would say Brady is the better quarterback. And they wouldn't have to clear their throats either. :)

As for HE lost to the Packers too. ...
1.) I thought it isn't the quarterback that loses but the team (or at least that's what Cowboys fans say when it comes to discussing Romo and playoff futility or Super Bowls) and
2.) Romo lost to the Packers too. Brady has also beaten the Ravens, a team we somehow don't manage to beat with or without Romo. Oh, and Peyton Manning also. ;)

Having said that, you're entitled to your opinion.

Brady plays in the worst Division in football for the past 10 years, also we didnt even play the ravens last year. I am talking about currently, Romo is a 100X better than he was 3 years ago.

Romo makes so many pass protection adjustments at the line and hot routes to beat blitzes. Hes a wizard at feeling out pressure, he makes our LIne look amazing too. See the JJ WATT Play when he came unblocked, if that weeden its a strip sack

You make it seem like its not warranted. He is the worst QB as a starter in the NFL and now he is our guy. OF COURSE I DONT LIKE HIM

Worst by who's standards. Are you counting his time in Cleveland with a team that sucked. Or going by one game last year when the entire team played bad against a very good defense.
I'm not saying he will go out and be great, but he's not a

When he was with Cleveland there were players wide open. you can blame tehm all you want but guys were wide open and the announcer was literally laughing at him

You don't have to sell me on Romo, I know he is great. I don't expect Weeden to improvise as Romo does where when the play is breaking down to create plays. I do expect Weeden to look to his check downs when his primary target is covered and get rid of the ball when the play breaks down. What Romo does few can do so why would anyone expect Weeden will? Weeden does not need to be Tony Romo what he needs to do is play to his own strengths and with Linehan and Romo helping him I think Weeden is capable of going out and playing a good game.

Wow really? I didn't expect that much before the injuries. I think 9-7 is tops if the teams plays crazy good now and when people are back.

After going 2-0 with the injuries in game and seeing the rest of the NFC we could have gone 14-2! Wasn't saying that during the PS!

We will have to fight, scratch, and claw to go 4-4 over the next 8 IMO. 6-4 with the injuries we have endured would be nothing short of a miracle!

Atlanta and NO do not scare me one bit even with Weeds. It's our defense and ST's that give me hope. Plus if you have watched the rest of the league over the past 2 weeks the Olines and Dline play is horrific!

I was just illustrating how much better Romo makes our line look, look how bad we were at pass blocking vs Zona last year and running

STop! coming into a game when the defnese is dead tired and gave up with a lead is the not the same as starting. You will see how bad he is this sunday

A lot of Weeden's passes were short screens and very high percentage throws that had nothing to do with the tired state of the PHI defense. There's no reason to think we're not going to continue to play that way. We've shown we can control the ball that way. The down field stuff was mostly to the TEs, which will continue to be there. Then we got the one big pass on the hot read on the blitz. That's how we're going to be playing on offense the next 8 weeks. Fairly boring stuff with a couple of big shots down field every now and then to keep defenses honest. I don't think it's going to change much from what we got in PHI, really.

If we can't run, and without Dez (AZ basically removed him from that game with Peterson), we should expect similar outcomes. Weeden is not a guy who's going to come in and beat good defenses on his own, and if we're expecting that, we're going to be disappointed.

If we win with him, it's because our defense plays better and because we're able to get to our ball control offense and the OL can help him out blocking for the RBs. It means no turnovers and no drive-killing penalties. That said, if we get that, Brandon can deliver the ball to the receivers and run the screen game with the oscasional scramble just fine.

But the Ravens are a good team, which is why I raised the point. And if we're talking about NOW, Tom Brady was playing better than Romo even this year. Romo was playing great, but Brady is playing better.
At any rate, I really don't think there's anything more to argue. We'll have to agree to disagree.

I think the OL is pretty good to start with and Arz was a top defense in the NFL last season. I watched guys like Alex Smith whom I would not give a bag of chip to get him early in his career. Now Alex Smith is a guy you can win games with. he is not going to carry his team but he plays well within the system. I'm not expecting Weeden to be Tony Romo I do expect him to make plays and just as important avoid big mistakes. If he can do that then I think the defense will keep us in the games and giving us a chance to win.

Jason Garrett basically said this in his PC yesterday.
They do not want Weeden to be Romo, they want Weeden to be Weeden.

They will devise a game plan around his strengths.

I agree however I think Dallas will still need to take shots down the field as defense start closing in on the shorter routs. Last thing you want is DB jumping short routs because they do not believe you will take them down field. Sometimes the the long bomb it's effect even when incomplete is to let the DB's know you will take them long
