Season Predictions Post Injuries

I'm optomistic. Our defense is trending up especially after week 4 and whenever Gregory comes back. Like I've been harping about is our run game. You can pull up all statistics and say we are doing fine but we need everyone on the offense to step it up. That means next time get that TD on the goal line, that means run hard and get yards so it opens up the pass, and use that clock.

If we do that I feel we still come out at least 5-3. Our team is talented. Our defense will need to carry and our offense needs to run hard and play mistake free football.

I think the OL is pretty good to start with and Arz was a top defense in the NFL last season. I watched guys like Alex Smith whom I would not give a bag of chip to get him early in his career. Now Alex Smith is a guy you can win games with. he is not going to carry his team but he plays well within the system. I'm not expecting Weeden to be Tony Romo I do expect him to make plays and just as important avoid big mistakes. If he can do that then I think the defense will keep us in the games and giving us a chance to win.

What about the pre-season where he looked lost and fumbled that shotgun snap against SD?

and he went 4 of 5 in the game behind a make shift OL and? I gave my prediction and even explained my reasoning. Clearly nothing anyone says will change your mind. When you get down to it these are all opinion negative and positive but it will be his play this weekend that will speak for itself good and bad. I think if Dallas needs Weeden to carry them then we very well will have problems, however if they get him to play within the system and use the talent around him as well as the defense going out making plays and setting us up with field position then I think Weeden will do just fine.

I agree however I think Dallas will still need to take shots down the field as defense start closing in on the shorter routs. Last thing you want is DB jumping short routs because they do not believe you will take them down field. Sometimes the the long bomb it's effect even when incomplete is to let the DB's know you will take them long

Well, he's got the arm for it. And we'll have the matchups with Beasley, Escobar, and Dunbar. He can afford to take a shot now and then when he get's a matchup he likes.

Even when Romo comes back there's some games there that are toss ups. We literally need weeden to win at least 4 games and like that when Romo comes back win all but 1.

That's a good analogy, now let's hope Weeden lives up too it, I hope he does we will see.

If they can go 4-3 over the next 7, I can still see 11 or 12 wins. I think they lose to NE, Seattle (close), and maybe at NY. Hell, 9-7 just might win this division. Then get Romo and Dez back healthy for the playoffs and Katy bar the door.

So 12-4 minus 3 extra losses...
9-7...maybe even 10-6
