Starters:

Bryant
Smith
Romo
Witten
Murray
Fred
Martin
Escobar
Williams
Leary
Free

Melton
Church
Carr
Selvie
Wilcox
Crawford
Carter
Durant
McClain
Claiborne
Bishop

Bailey
Frenchy
Jones

notes: Wilber played well against the backups in Miami but his best work with the starters has come on the nickel. He has not been very good dealing with blocks against the run. At the start, I see him concentrating on that nickel role and ST. I would start Bishop over Hayden but that is just me, I actually expect the team to go with the incumbent.

Remainder of the active roster:

Harris*
Weeden
Beasley
Dunbar*
Hanna*
Bernadeau
Parnell
Randle*
Byrd*

Mincey
Wilber*
Coleman
McClain
Patmon
Heath*
Lawrence*
Hitchens*
Boatright*
Moore
Hayden

notes: heavy on DL because of limited McClain and Melton being limited. special teams prime contributors are marked with an *. Dixon is the closest to moving to the active list due to special teams. His inconsistency keeps him down below.

Inactive 8

Spencer
Lawrence
Street
Mitchell
Williams
Vaughn
Nwaneri
Dixon

Practice Squad:

Minter
W Smith
R Smith
Bethea
Wetzel
Goodin

I haven't went over my list yet, but roster is close right off top of my head.
I don't like 3 losses in last 4 games. Needd to be on a role going into playoffs. I think if they are that good to be 11-2 at that point and winning 6 in a row, they could take the last game against Washington, unless the back ups are playing. But I like it overall.
I haven't thought too much of game by game win / loss yet. kind of was bummed that even the back ups didn't do a lot last night. Maybe Denver game planned it for their back ups. LOL

When you look at it written down it does seem possible.
I have us at 9-7. Gotta beat the niners to start this.
As players return we get better as the season rolls on.

WOW 11-5 God bless you man. That means we'll win the east and likely a bye, so do we win a playoff and make the NFC title game? This is exciting.

Quite optimistic predictions! It doesn't appear to me that garret has things together yet nor do the players. I'm afraid we may find 8-8 an amazing feat. I just see us getting outclasses by the miners and saints, and probably a few others. I'm bracing to be pretty bad this year...but hoping for more

I think 11-5 is our absolute ceiling, we would need everything to go right. I think we will be 4-12. We have no floor.

Please pass me that jar of Kool-aid. Whatever flavor doesn't matter to me. Our D is going to be our downfall. Tony wants to be the hero, passing the ball. A more conservative approach is needed. With a good to great O-Line, Red/Linehan would be stupid to not run the ball to manage the clock, which limits the need for our D to control the game. 7-9, 8-8, 9-7...is my guess.

I'm don't think we beat Arizona or SF. 9-7 is feasible, but we'll probably lose to the Skins once so I think we'll end up at 8-8

Nice write-up Fuzzy. Nice thread too.
I think our ceiling is another year of 8x8 sad to say...
I think the floor is no worse than 3x13 if the team doesn't quit mid season on Garrett.
I'm just not sure that the offense can score enough points game in and game out to cover for the awful defense we
will likely put on the field this year. If Romo goes down (Likely), then the season is lost and this team is suspect
to pack it in because they have no history of fighting for wins or fighting for comebacks.

I hope to heck I'm wrong but just don't think we are very good, lack depth, and coaching so far has not
been able to come up with answers. Such a Jonah day folks!!!!

Highly optimistic but not unreasonable. I think they can be 10-6 (lose once to NY) if they can stay healthy.
