Why? If we beat the Skins we will beat Seattle out for the higher seed no matter if they won.

I didn't get it at first but this is what I concluded:

If Seattle goes 12-4
Green Bay goes 12-4
Dallas goes 12-4

We still get #3 seed because we will have the poorest conference record.. And 0 chance of falling to #4 since the south is atrocious this year.

Washington game is meaningless, probably best to rest injured players and maybe even most of the starters...

Arizona will be one and done in the playoffs

I think a Stanton-led Cardinals team is capable of beating the NFC South winner. But it'll be interesting to see what tonight's drubbing, and possibly a poor showing next week, does to Arizona's confidence going into the postseason. They've played this season like a bully defensively, yet have been bloodied pretty badly tonight.

Cards peaked early, but are obviously a different team without Palmer. They luckily will play the winner of ATL/CAR and might squeak by them on the road, but it's extremely unlikely that we would see them in the postseason.

I see the postseason looking like this if we run the table:

WC - DET
Semis - @GB
Conference - @SEA

Brutal.

Then again, getting to the Superbowl isn't supposed to be easy.

Arizona has a very aggressive defense, but at times undisciplined and fundamentally unsound. Also, had some very questionable coverage schemes that Seattle exploited.

The road will go through Seattle for sure, they are clicking and have the defense that wins championships. I don't want to go there again but at least Dallas has done it once already..........will be a shot for the confidence.

If we have to play GB, might as well be in Dallas, don't want to go up there and they aren't close to invincible on the road.

Rodgers has a calf injury that will be interesting to monitor. He obviously says there's no way he's missing next week's game because of it, but it could throw a dent in his efficiency -- and against a team that beat him once this season already.

The Seahawks are scary right now.

Very! that Lynch run was incredible.

But if you had to write a script for a Super Bowl winning redemption season for Romo, wouldn't it be incredible if it came down to Seattle vs Dallas in the championship and Bailey is brought in to kick the winning field goal with 3 seconds left. Garrett sends Romo out to hold for the kick, Bailey hits the winner on a perfect Romo hold!

<before anyone freaks out about having Romo hold for the kick, its just a dream people, roll with it!>

With all due respect to Seattle, it should be pointed out that this 5 game winning streak has been compiled against teams quarterbacked by: Drew Stanton, Colin Kaepernick, Mark Sanchez, Kaep again, and Ryan Lindley.

Just sayin'.

I was just about to post the same thing. They are playing unbelievable defense right now, and are hands-down the team to beat in the NFC with one week remaining in the regular season.

Still, that was a 14-6 game in the fourth quarter tonight against a third-string QB. Seattle eventually was able to overwhelm the Cardinals, but some of that was window dressing once Arizona's house of cards caved in.

Exactly. Let's tap the brakes a bit.
